Rosemary and staff were fantastic. Went above and beyond to make our stay a wonderful few days. The restaurant had a great menu with plenty of variety for whatever your taste. The food and service was impeccable. Would highly recommend!

Absence of a fridge in the room without the option to make one’s own food was a change from my normal choice of stay. This would have suited us though the restaurant offered most choices and did keep a few items in their restaurant mini-fridge. The Pool table could be upgraded if you are wanting a sure aim! The value of the stay was not budget if one adds all the meals. However, worth exploring and meeting the hosts. Thanks!

The hosts have made a concerted effort to run this space very efficiently whilst also offering a restaurant open to outside guests with an appetizing choice of culinary treats. Rose-Marie and her husband have co-created a beautiful space in an area of Panama’s coast that hasn’t been exploited and can seem a little basic. However the helpful hints and visible wildlife ( stingrays in shallows/ sea-birds of many kinds) as well as good beaches with warm waters and absence of currents ( except on the point of the peninsula) make it a peaceful experience :). Will hope to be back some day…

Nothing — all was excellent in our experience.

Rose Marie was a most wonderful host, who went above and beyond when we encountered a problem with our car. We had a very relaxing stay at the hotel, and thoroughly enjoyed the delicious meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) served at the hotel restaurant each day. Indeed, we hadn’t planned on having all of our meals at the hotel restaurant, but such was the quality of the food and the relaxation we were experiencing that we decided to do so. We enjoyed long walks along the expansive, peaceful and relatively unspoiled beach surrounding the Punta Chame peninsula, followed by swims in the pool. We enjoyed drinks by the pool each evening. We enjoyed a great sleep each night in the very comfy beds. All in all, we had a most wonderful stay at Hotel Casa Amarilla, made all the more so by Rose Marie and her wonderful team.

This Hotel was lovely, the owners were fabulous and always around to ask any questions. The rooms were comfortable, the pool was small but adequate. sun loungers extremely comfy, the comfy areas were well equipped and even had a pool table. The food was fabulous

The place is a real gem. The owners took great care in building a high-quality place for people to enjoy their stay in Punta Chame. The house is floored with real wood, proper tiles were chosen for the shower box and overall the style of the room gives safari vibes. The place has a pool outside too for the times one doesn't feel like going to the beach. The breakfast is really good, with home-made bread available and fresh fruit. Coffee is of great quality. Absolutely my most favourite accommodation I stayed during my trip in Panama. Super recommended.

Probably just the fact that I couldn't get strong Internet from my room. I could get a little if I put the laptop next to the drawers in the room's entryway and stood. But mostly I worked from the patio area, which was just fine, as that facilitated my drinking habit.

For the price I paid, I received an outstanding value from Hotel Casa Amarilla. The AC was very much appreciated on the days I stayed. the room size was commensurate with what one would expect from the price. The dinners were excellent. They did laundry for me for $5 (wish I could get that deal back at home :) Probably the thing that I thought was absolutely superb were the Espresso Martinis they were making me. Very satisfying :)

Unique place! Made and maintained with love to every detail by the owners - a French family. We enjoyed the feeling of being their personal guests, which included friendly communication and amazing French gourmet. Is a great, place to stay and relax. I took the Cabaña for two persons, is a small but comfortable room, although it had no A/C it was very fresh and cozy. Restaurant is good, and the value overall was budget friendly.
