This stay is directly under the airport take-off flight pattern. BUT, I think the flights stopped around 10pm, because I slept very well.

Perfect location for a one night stay near the airport. Nothing fancy, but exceptionally clean, and exactly as described on Booking.com. The AC works great, and the bed very comfortable. The host was very friendly and helpful. He organized a very efficient airport pickup for me as well.

I had a layover in Panama for 20 hours and just needed a place to sleep, when I arrived they were extremely helpful, really nice people and the room was really clean and spacious, and they offered to take me to the airport for an additional fee

Had a great one night stay in Jocelyn’s place. Very friendly and helpful host. Place is as advertised and has a supermarket around the corner and restaurants nearby. Definitely would recommend and great value for money.

Everything is as described by the property or mentioned in previous comments, no surprises here.

I only needed to spend the night in the vicinity of the airport and this was perfect. It is basic, but clean and the owner is very responsive and kind. For an extra charge, you can also arrange for an airport pickup, which comes in handy if you arrive later at night as I did, and don’t want to waist time looking for the place.

We had a warm welcome and host was very responsive and helpful. We stayed for 3 days and really enjoyed in the spacious apartment. The bed is great and the room is big. Our motorcycles were safely parked in a fenced yard. City train station and bug supermarkets nearby. The morning of our flight host's uncle gave us a ride to the airport. Very pleasant and relaxing stay!

Other than the challenge of finding the place, there was nothing I didn't like. It was a good experience staying there. And the proximity to the airport is a huge plus.

I was very pleased with my stay at Chelox Panama Airport. It was a bit of a challenge finding the place, as is true of many places in Panama due to the lack of property signage, and I had been expecting a regular hotel. It is a private property, more akin to an AirBnb than a hotel, but it was clean, comfortable, and well equipped. The friendliness and hospitality of the host. Joselyn, really made me feel welcome and added to the experience. I selected the property due to its proximity to the airport, which was another big plus. Here is a hint how one can more readily find the place. My knowledge of the Panama City Metro really helped. The first street leading north just east of the second to last station on Line 2, 24 de Deciembre, is the one you want. The Metro runs down the middle of the Carretera Panamericana, Ruta 1, so it provides a good landmark. Go up that street, and in several blocks there will be a big sign that says Calle San Jose. Continue straight up the hill past that sign, and two (maybe three) more streets on the left is Calle 12. It is past the tire repair place. If you come to the Chinese restaurant on the right, you went a block too far. Turn down C. 12, and the property is the very last place on the right. Turning around in that street would not be easy. Hope that helps someone find the place.

Since it’s close to the airport, you can hear the sounds of planes taking off and landing. However, there is no noise between 11 PM and 4 AM.

We spend here the first night after arriving late at Panama airport. For this purpose it was just great. The host was very helpful and contacted us upfront to align about the checkin. Safe parking is included, also comfortable bed and even a kitchen where we prepared us some sandwiches.

Two sides to every story.... although it did not bother me.... airplanes flew over the residence. However, that's because is was conveniently close to the airport. A win/win for me!

I really can't say enough about welcoming, serviceable and friendly host(s)! The rooms were safe and secure. My particular room had a large kitchen, bathroom and a large bedroom. Airconditioning as well. Very clean. Remarkably priced. Many restaurants within walking distance.

Bit hard to find, last house on the right. Not the most luxurious but basic and spacious. I would come back!

Perfect for a night before San blas! It's on the right side of panama city so you can avoid crossing all of the city in the morning. Friendly owner, does speak Spanish though.

I only had an 11 hour layover and didn't get a great deal of sleep in the meantime but that was no fault of the property. I have no issues with anything I did not encounter any negative problems.

Jocelyn was great in all respects. The accommodations were as expected very nice and clean the bed was wonderful. Very accommodating and a pleasant stay. I had coffee to drink that was provided by the property and that was a bonus.

The location was very secluded in regard to restaurants and stores. It was located at the end of a residential street with no signage at the location.

Joselyn, the owner and host is friendly man. He is always available with good advice and guidance in this neighbourhood within easy reach of Tocumen International Airport. Apart from intermittent noise of departing aircraft, Chelox is located in a quiet cul-de-sac within walking distance of shops and restaurants. Chelox is perfect for layovers with the Metro passing by connecting this place with Panama City center and airfield alike.

A bit negative that it was further from the airport than we thought. Had to spend an unnecessary amount of money on taxi costs.

There was a big cockroach. A cutting knife and scissors would be handy! Shower a bit moldy. Very lovely place though especially for the price.

It was very basic. Everything was clean, but it was not pretty.

The host Joselyn went out of his way to be helpful. He sent me information on transportation options and called an Indrive because it's cheaper and I don't have the app.
