The breakfast options were limited but still tasty.

The two level suite was so beautiful and spacious. The decoration and attention to details were superb. The central location was so convenient for eating, shopping and strolling. 100s of amazing restaurants and bars within a few blocks.I would give this place a 10 star rating if possible.

No hot water during stay, I understand it happens sometimes, but feel like a discount on cost of room could have been given. Would also recommend to have restaurant menu in room, and the basic information like WhatsApp number for hotel and restaurant hours etc in a packet instead the hotel.

There was a misunderstanding on our first night which we believe should have been resolved differently. When we checked in, we were told that there would be a complementary cocktail. When we went for dinner, we mentioned to the wait staff that this was our first night and that we would like the complementary cocktail. The waiter gave us a drinks menu, we chose from the menu and at the end of the night, the drinks were added to our bill. We queried and were told that a specific drink was offered as complementary. The drinks we chose were not complementary. We asked him why he gave us a menu to choose from when we asked him for our complementary drinks and he couldn't really answer that. The person who checked us in came over and advised that we had made a mistake and that we needed to pay for the drinks. It grated. We paid and decided not to have dinner in the restaurant again. Moving on from that; the facilities are lovely and arty but we were disappointed by how small the roof terrace is and that there is no shade up there.

Breakfast was included and we liked the options. We had fresh fruit followed by choices from a menu. Choices included eggs and pastries.

The restaurant dinner service was very slow, not just for us but for others we knew who were also dining there . The food choice was limited and some of it not well flavoured. The hotel did offer free wine in compensation, but it was not a good dinner experience.

The friendly welcome and boutique style bedroom decor. Also the air-conditioning was quiet and effective.

Construction noise during breakfast.

Breakfast was included with the room, and there was an incredible selection of gourmet items. We could have shared most of the selections; but they were all delicious. The staff was wonderful - it felt more like family. We decided to have all our evening meals at Kandella, and were never disappointed - the evening meals were incredible - all fresh farm to table ingredients, creative presentations and ingredients - seasonings were all delicious. Five stars minimum.

The room was loud. We were on the second floor and there was a lot of noise from the restaurant below but also noise from above, furniture belong moved? The noises coming from above were quite loud.

It was really beautiful and comfortable. It was a great location in the heart of the city.

This property is beautiful!! We stayed in the superior suite and it was gorgeous from top to bottom. Very well designed with just enough space. The location was perfect and walkable to many restaurants, places to shop, and sites to see. It’s also only a 6 minute ($10 or less) ride to the Canal Zone and downtown area of Panama City. Additionally, the service was impeccable. Everyone was responsive, attentive and extremely kind. They make it so efficient because you can message the front desk from WhatsApp and receive service asap. The free breakfast was scrumptious and a great blend of traditional Panamanian foods along with American fare. We ate at the restaurant for dinner one evening and thoroughly enjoyed it as well. We never got tired of the breakfast. As for dinner, there are so many place nearby that everyday will feel like a culinary adventure.

they have a big problem with the kitchen hood, which from the morning until the last customer in the restaurant, makes a noise like a Chinese drop so you can't rest or sleep.

The only opportunities are the prices for the diner it is quite high compared to other similar restaurants around. The breakfast is limited in terms of options, would be nice to have more variety and fresh local juices.

Beautiful boutique hotel in the heart of Casco viejo. Lovely decoration with local touch. The diner at Kaandela was good with very good service and attention from the staff! The staff was very friendly, provided advice on what to visit and even offered us courtesy late check out!

Beautiful, boutique hotel centrally located in historic district in Panama City. Rooms are comfortable, well laid out and small. Mattresses are comfortable, restaurant is excellent and the hotel feels like a secret garden when you enter. Hotel's woodwork, architecture and decor are wonderful.
