How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Bathrooms are a bit cramped but for the price this is not a major issue.

When asking the reception for information instead of guiding me to the place, she just said go ask at the restaurant. Bathroom needs some upgrades.
Centric, it has a restaurant and a parking lot.

Not so good: Bed: Changed rooms and that mattress had a weak area on edge that slopes/caves downwards. If not careful, could catch yourself rolling off! TV: Screen size is too small. Noise: Street/traffic, horns, music; worse in the daytime. Loud people both: inside hallways - as well as outside.
Good: Size: Good room size Storage: Ample amount of storage with clothes-rack and hangers. Nice size desk with good comfortable chair. 2 good size end tables/shelves on either side of bed. Bath and shower: Hot water sink and shower. Higher glass shelf above sink. Nice bright lighting. Electric outlets: An electrical outlet near bed. Bed: Good size mattress that is comfortable. Nearby stores, restaurants, bakery: The Restaurante Benidorm is a great restaurant and just next door! Then a few doors down from that restaurant, is another good restaurant on the same side of the street., And 1 street over near the Arte Del Pan Bakery, is another good Italian restaurant too

Construction was ongoing in the lobby so there was dust everywhere. Not very friendly staff but I was only staying for the day before my flight back to Europe.
Comfortable size room. Close to several restaurants and a shopping mall with a food store. Functioning AC which managed to cool the room somewhat during the day

the hot water went for two days and wasn't fix so I had no choice but to use cold water
the view was ok clean bathroom ,,room clean everyday hotel is close to shopping areas

Wifi connection in our room was non existent, had to stand in the hallway to connect. Remote for the aircon did not work, and staff were unable to fix it.
Well run secure hotel. Easy walk to Casco Viejo and the Malecon. Friendly staff. Close to the Metro. Many cheap eating places close by.

The bathroom was a bit too small, especially the shower area. The mattress was too hard, gave us some back pains. There is no refrigerator in the room.
It was okay. The staff were pleasant and willing to assist with what we needed or wanted, despite the language barrier.

All good thanks
Vert good, clean & trustworth hotel in the heart of Caledonia..view to the street..bathroom/ shower all good & hot water. Many Panamanian eateries with good choices all around this area, & you can eat delicious food for under $6 including meat, cutlet, fish, rice, beans or lentils, plantain, puré,tortillas & menu changes little everyday..if you mcdonalds is only 100mtrs past the lotteria..many shops..simcard etc also near about 150 mtres arriba

All good & upgrade on arrival to balcony room made it even better..the A/C switches on/off at reception if you need this request. Many restaurants/snacks in this neighborhood all within vicinity

Need to improve tv signal it was so bad. Bathroom door kinda small.
The room is comfortable not too big not so small, A/C is unit good. Good location just need to be careful at night it can be quite scary.

Internet had startup problems but there is a mcDonalds next to the subway with free WiFi
Subway and police station around the corner. Walking distance to the sea only no swimming.
