Private beach, 3 pools and beautiful gardens. Incredible views and the infinity pool was just breathtaking. Treated like royalty by staff and what a fantastic breakfast spread too! Would highly recommend to everyone! Got complimentary cake for our 25th wedding anniversary. Sultan at the desk was the most helpful, went above and beyond to accommodate our needs.

The Chedi has been on my wish-list for so many years and it didn't disappoint. Perfect room, immaculate grounds, beautiful pools to choose from, close enough to go hiking, and great food.

If I really scratched my head to find something which requires improvement at The Chedi, then two things come to mind. (1) The beach could be made a little friendlier to those guests who prefer to swim in the sea as opposed to staying by the pool (which of course does not mean that the beach is bad, far from it); (2) the conditioners in the rooms are quite noisy (maybe it is a matter of the right settings and the guests just need a little guidance on that).

We had a fantastic stay at The Chedi. The hotel has excellent facilities - quite modern, but with a distinct Omani style. The rooms are comfortable and well-equipped, and serviced regularly and invisibly for the guests. The main restaurant (which has a funky name - The Restaurant) provides fantastic breakfast and very high-quality a la carte dinner (not cheap!). Of the hotel facilities there are several highlights - an excellent gym, which is a joy to visit, a very long swimming pool (over 100m) and striking night views of the hotel territory, when the lights are on and live fires are set in special bowls here and there. Special mention goes to the hotel staff who gave us great care and attention, everywhere really - at the reception, at the restaurant, in bars, at the pool and in the gym. I have to say special thanks to Ahmed, the barmen at the Serai pool bar, who was particularly warm and friendly to us and also showed to us what the legendary Omani hospitality is like in real life. Not much to do for younger kids, but otherwise an excellent choice for families and couples.

Breakfast very busy and difficult to get clean table or someone to serve for coffee. Bar/lounge service after dinner, waited 25 mins and gave up. Forgot my room key, no phone on floor to call reception for help and room was far from reception. Waited 25 mins for staff to appear. Shame about the huge ugly apartment building on top of the hotel, takes away from experience.

Pools beautiful, access to beach superb, quiet resort, very attentive and helpful staff, seafront restaurant location great if you don't look around. Staff at reception very helpful for taxi or tour.

Everything was exceptional

From the moment we arrived, we knew we were in for something special. This hotel exceeded every expectation, offering a perfect blend of comfort, elegance, and outstanding service. The staff were incredibly warm and attentive, making us feel welcomed and valued throughout our stay. And a big Thank you for Ms. Aisha from the recaption. The room was immaculate, spacious, beautifully designed, and equipped with all the amenities one could need. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and I appreciated the attention to detail, from the quality of the linens to the thoughtful touches like fresh fruit and bottled water. the breakfast buffet was one of the best I’ve had—fresh, diverse, and presented with care. A true highlight of our stay was the spa experience. The massage was absolutely wonderful, deeply relaxing and expertly done. The spa staff were highly professional, skilled, and respectful, creating a peaceful environment that helped me fully unwind. It was one of the best massages we’ve ever had and a key reason why we’d return.

At check in the agent was not the most welcoming, purely based on vibes but not that bad, not really interacting with us much and just collecting payment. I would say the same for the restaurant manger or assistant manager, we felt like we weren’t welcome at one point. We ordered a platter for two that cost quite a bit and was not at all value for money, the taste was not really good either.

The vibe of the property, the views are amazing, our guest service gentleman was a very warm and welcoming and was really a highlight for service especially because it was our first interaction at the property. The pools are calm, beautiful and relaxing. The rooms are unique to say the least but comfortable and very clean non the less. Most staff are really nice, welcoming and warm. The breakfast was also amazing and the staff at breakfast was really good. The room service and house keeping were very fast, professional and accommodating. Location is a bit far from most tourist places but it was nice to have a place outside the business of the city to relax.

Although the personnel are very friendly and the facilities excellent there was a smell of gas not better identified which was annoying in some hours of the day especially with the wind coming from the garden.

The staff and the facilities are really excellent. We found the pool amazing and the staff was always available to anticipate the smallest requests. The location is outstanding and the care to details actually palpable as you roam the property. Highly recommendable for a stay in Muscat. The property is inhabited by a countless variety of colorful birds very nice to see in their natural habitat.

The staff were exceptional from our very late check in (after 1am) to our very late check out at 5pm. They were all so helpful and accommodating to all our queries. Big shout out to the concierge team who managed to secure us a rental car within an hr of our request, despite it being a holiday. As it was the summer and consequently the 'off season' we also felt like we had all the gorgeous facilities to ourselves.
