We spent 2 nights at Starry Domes Camp and did all of the activities. The tour was very informative, camel ride was fun, and the dune bashing was the best activity we had during our holidays. It was all very well managed and very exclusive. Dinner was amazing! Looking at stars and the dunes at night was an experience on its own. We would highly recommend staying here for 2 nights at least, and doing all the activities. We hope to come back again next year!

Everything! Amazing place in the desert. Very clean. Fantastic room/tent/dome. Super friendly hosts (both brothers) who mingled with the guest during dinner and shared insights on living in the desert. We did the Dunes Bashing with a beautiful sunset view and the 3 hour desert tour. Generous portions for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We recommend staying there two (2) nights.

We liked everything.

The positive energy of the host Hamed is contagious, making the tour very enjoyable. The room is clean and well equipped with amenities, The room is very comfortable and excellent view to the sunrise and night scene, Amazing place to view the night sky with low to little light pollution.

The sand dune bashing can be more exciting (personal preference). The place and host/owner are excellent, nothing to nip pick.

There are just not enough stars to rate this place. The accommodation is great, with a panoramic view on the desert from the room. Each of them is well distanced from the other ones, giving privacy to everyone. The logistics to be picked up from Bidiyah was very smooth and well organized. Last but not least, we want to warmly thank you, Mohamed and Salman, for your kindness and our interesting discussions :)

The campsite was beautiful, and the staff made sure to accommodate our needs. Would definitely recommend for those that want a different desert experience than sleeping in a tent.

We had an unforgettable stay at Starry Domes in Bidiyah, Oman. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, especially Hameed and Ahmed, who made our experience even more special. The views of the stars (Milky Way) and surrounding nature were absolutely breathtaking. It’s the perfect place to disconnect and enjoy a raw, primal connection with the desert. The food was delicious and authentic. The rooms were surprisingly spacious and spotless, you’d never guess it’s actually a tent! Dune bashing was a thrilling highlight. If you don't have a 4x4 you can drive in the dessert,, transport to the camp can easily be arranged from the meeting. The peaceful atmosphere is ideal for couples looking to relax and unwind. We felt completely at ease and taken care of. My wife and I will cherish this memory forever. Highly recommended! This is our first ever 10 out of 10 experience!

Its not necessarily cheap, but an experience like this is well worth the money. We will definitely do this again when we visit Oman

A once in a lifetime experience! Beautiful location in the desert, and fun activities offered such as dune-bashing, camel riding and star gazing. The owners are really friendly and welcoming, and the accommodation is really comfortable. The food is high quality and fresh, with lots of options to chose from (buffet style). Would definitely recommend if you are visiting Oman!

What a truly magical escape! Far from the bustle of typical tourist spots, our experience at the Starry Dome was nothing short of extraordinary. From the very beginning, the owner and his son were incredibly helpful, readily answering our queries as we made our way to the rendezvous point. The exhilarating drive through the dunes was a delightful prelude to the beauty that awaited us. Despite a partially veiled sky, the sunset painted the sand in breathtaking hues, offering a magnificent vista. The dome itself was thoughtfully designed, featuring a grand window that promised a sunrise spectacle from the comfort of our bed. The staff's warmth and attentiveness enhanced our stay. Before a delectable dinner, the owner graciously shared his knowledge of the starry sky, weaving captivating tales that enthralled all the guests. It was a truly enchanting experience. Even after our meal, we lingered on the terrace, captivated by the owner's stories of life in his beloved Oman. Returning to our cozy dome, we savored the serene desert night, enjoying a comforting hot beverage. Every precious moment spent in this tranquil desert haven was a treasure.
