    The front desk staff Sohail is super helpful and courteous.

    The Golden Tulip is excellent value for money and a very clean, crisp and well laid out hotel. My room was large and comfortable with a veranda that opened out onto the pool area. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was of good quality with excellent variety. There is also a pool, gym and an excellent spa.

    These are not criticisms but observations to help with continual improvement. I had dinner in the hotel restaurant one evening and the portions were huge. Ridiculously huge! I could only eat a quarter of the food presented leaving an awful lot of waste. Can I suggest that portion sizes be reviewed? Some of the gym equipment has minor damage and this should be repaired. Finally, I had problems with the wifi and could not log on for any length of time. I suspect this was the broadband provider and not the hotel.

    Their matress and pillows were all normal in size a balance of cozy and compfort. Cleaning across hotel upto the mark. Location wise perfect . Morning breakfast was good. Staff were all really helpful, kudos to their management who has keep the standards high. Will definetly come back again if ever came to nizwa.

    We had a truly calm and quiet experience at this property. The location is excellent, and the interior design is both tasteful and inviting. Everything went smoothly during our stay - the staff were courteous and attentive throughout. We’ll definitely be returning!

    the maintenance team could improve - the interconnecting room lock wasn’t functioning smoothly, which was a minor inconvenience.

    Spacious room, great breakfast, direct access to the pool from the balcony. The lobby was indeed impressive! Staff is very friendly.

    The water of the pool was not very clean/clear. Probably requires extra treatment/maintenance. Room services was a bit overpriced compared to Omani standards. For example, we ordered the shrimps tempura and paid 7 O.R excl. taxes for 6/7 shrimps! But overall, we had a great stay!

    Great location as an on route overnight stop from UAE to Salalah. Staff try their best despite not being sufficiently trained. Big swimming pool. Nice lobby area except someone thought it cool to have a completely out of place tandem bicycle on display.

    Rooms are tired. No walk in shower you have to climb in a bath and has shower curtain! No gym. Resturant food adequate but not enjoyable eg fish and chips made with imported cat fish not fresh sea fish (thats what it tasted like). Many items on the menu not available. Bar was dark and dingy with limited food options and the tables not suitable to eat from anyway.
