I looked for things we didn’t like and I found none: everything was perfect!

What we loved about the camp is that it is made by a few tents and it is on a dune. The place is quiet, clean and offers a great experience. Hilal and his brother are the most exquisite hosts we could ask for - caring and attentive.

Incredible family run business - Ahmed and Rashid welcomed us to their camp in their lush desert home, taught us about Bedouin life and made sure we had an unforgettable experience. Easy pick up, 4WD dune bashing tour at sunset (highly recommend), delicious buffet meals, comfortable tents. We wanted to sleep out under the stars and they immediately moved our bed outside for us. We learnt so much about their Bedouin way of life. Please stay here - these people and this place is truly special.

The bed/mattresses were very hard/firm, so was a bit tough to fall asleep.

The camp was nicely located in the dunes, there were some other camps nearby, but not close enough to notice them without walking some distance. The facilities were amazing, tents were simple, yet well equipped and the little private bathrooms (including showers) were just perfect. Sunset camel ride was brilliant and definitely worth doing. Both the dinner and breakfast were well prepared with a large variety of food, we were very impressed by the quality and quantity of the dinner and breakfasts.

The only thing that we didn't like was the bed, it was very hard. But the rest makes up for it

Amazing and special accommodation, which you should try once in your life. Camp is quite far from the town and other camps and you need to drive a bit in the desert, which is exactly what we were looking for. It is really tranquil and silent. You can go up the dunes to see the sunset and sunrise. Breakfast and dinner were also very good and filling. Ali was a great host

Ali good have done nothing better.

The location is perfect, breakfast and dinner very fine, this camp gives you the feeling to really visit the desert, while making sure that you have everything you need. Very clean tent, shower and toilet, excellent bed, all perfect. If one wants to experience desert in a very safe and still authentic way, do not book a chalet with pool, book a quality very large tent from a local person, Ali, who grow up himself, with his camels, in the desert, only 2 km away.

Great location up in the dunes. Host was waiting for us to drive ahead and we followed (4x4 required). When dinner ended, host started a camp fire. There are 9 tents and we were lucky to be the only guests that day. Host offers camel riding and dune bashing.

    Can't think of anything

Spacious and simple tents with everything you might need for a night in the desert. There is a beautiful big dune closeby which is perfect to watch the sunset. Lovely staff and owner who took the time to sit with us by the fire and talk about Oman. Food was ok too!

The staff were very helpful and polite. Food was delicious: was served dinner and breakfast and snacks was provided too. The rooms was really cute and was really nice having a functional bathroom while 'camping'. They set up a bonfire during the evenings too. Great value for money. Winter evenings got very cold !

    Spectacular night in the dessert

We visited early January and it would have been nice to have hot water in the shower, the cold water was too cold to have a shower (for us, at least). There also was a bit of miscommunication about being able to arrive in a 2WD SUV, I was told we could get to the camp with our car but it was impossible in the loose sand. We got stuck but Ali came to help us out (lowering tire pressure to 0.6 bar, and pushing 4 persons).

Perfect location in the desert, away from other camps. Very nice staff. Great music after dinner. Good communication pre-arrival.

    We liked everything.

This is a small family run camp with simple facilities in an isolated area which was exactly what we were looking for. The tents were spacious, comfortable and attractively furnished with traditional carpets and all spotlessly clean. It was peaceful with no noise from other camps. The staff were all very welcoming and generous with their time. The sunset dune camel ride and dawn drive to view the sunrise were both magical. The team seemed to be very proud of their camp and were delighted to share it and their part of the desert with their guests. Ali was reliable at replying quickly to messages and met us punctually at the meeting place to guide us into the dunes. I would highly recommend a stay at this camp.

We had an amazing night here, the camp is further out than the others which gives it a private and exclusive feeling. One of the most beautiful sunsets ever, good buffet dinner & breakfast & fire at night with the stars above was a highlight! Bathrooms are clean, just a bit smelly, I guess that is not to be avoided in a place so secluded! Bed and tent were spacious and comfortable.
