The location of the house is absolutely incredible. The view of the sunset and sunrise is very beautiful. The house consists of three beautiful and clean rooms, a kitchen and a sitting room. It was an excellent experience. They also provided us with a wonderful Omani dinner for each person for 5 Omani riyals.

Ahmed works very hard over WhatsApp to translate everything; when meeting in person, his English is limited, but he was still a kind, happy, and responsive host. His cousin Hammad is better able to help with English translations. In addition, (this is not a huge negative, it was just a failure on my attention to detail/my own assumptions), please know that the house does not have a common indoor living room space. The house consists of three separate bedrooms with doors that access the outdoor courtyard. There in an open air room with a fridge and microwave for meals. The weather was mild in April, and this did not cause us any inconvenience, I was just surprised to find the layout without an indoor common area.

The location and the hosts were definitely the highlight! The home is, in my opinion as a visitor, in the absolute perfect location (especially for the cost). Our hosts, Ahmed and his cousin Hammad, were great! The view from the house is stunning and the location is in a quaint and peaceful small village with the amazing view of the surrounding mountains and valley. Hammad was SO patient with us as we hiked; my senior parents (age 65) ended up not completing one of the hikes to a wadi due to the physical fitness that the hike demanded (about an hour "adventure" drive and an hour hike from the house); however, with positively, patience, and gentle guidance, Hammad took us to a shorter hike to a wadi with mild difficulty that my 65 year old mother was able to participate in (about 20 minutes from the house and 20 minute hike). My whole family was also able to do the very easy and very beautiful balcony walk (about 20 minutes from the house). We had a great time with our hosts. There is a small coffee shop right down the road from the house with basic snacks and essentials, but be sure to place an order with Ahmed for dinner if you would like an Omani dinner; otherwise, you will be left with very few options! Also, the road up to the house is a dirt track; we were thankful to have an SUV to climb up the dirt path. Overall, for the price, we were very happy with our choice to stay here! (A family of 5 of us split over the three bedrooms).

The house location is excellent *with a wonderful view of the mountains *the house is spacious and clean and the room is nice and beautiful and also the bathrooms.. We had a very excellent stay and Hamid made a tour in Wadi Al Nakhr, Wadi Damm and Grand Canyon and Al Shorfa walkway.. An extra night was added in a house and the owner agreed.. Also Ahmed gave us an Omani dinner and a very excellent breakfast..

Mohammad and Ahmed were both so kind and welcoming! Mohammad showed me around the places and was super patient in waiting for me walking the balcony walk. Ahmed was always available and offered help whenever needed. The location is great! It's away from all other tourist spots and you have an incredible sunset. One of the nicest I saw so far... The location is so amazing, unbelievable during sunset.. The villa is very clean and comfortable.. There are three bedrooms with each room having a bathroom, a kitchen, a sitting room and all the necessities are there... And with that, Ahmed provided us with a wonderful traditional Omani dinner... Also, my cousin Ahmed provided us with a tourist trip to Jebel Shams, the balcony walkway... It was amazing... Thank you for what you provided and we will see you again in the future

We stayed there on our way to Jebel Shams Canyon. The place was clean, spacious, and had good water pressure (which is important). The sunset views were stunning, the breakfast was delicious, but most importantly, the owner was incredibly kind and extremely helpful. Highly recommended!

Wifi is via a mobile phone they leave behind. However, the mobile phone's battery was flat during the night, so there was no wifi in the morning. It's just an observation, no problem either.

The house is easy to reach by GPS. At arrival, someone was waiting for us to give the keys. There were 3 bedrooms that were simply furnished with each having its own bathroom with shower and toilet. As you are at an altitude, it cools down considerably at night, provide warm clothes. Meals were taken in another room, food was brought at 19h local time. his consisted of chicken, vegetables and rice with tea. The asset of this house is its location, it is +- 30 minutes away from Balcony walk. It is beautifully located and has the best sunrise and sunset.

Between a group of 4 guys, we used two twin bed rooms and shared a bathroom, which makes it difficult to ration out the hot water when we have to shower one after the other. Shower heads did not stay on the wall for one of the rooms making it a bit difficult to shower.

Beautiful property with an amazing view. Rooms were clean and staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. After a 3 hour hike and dinner was provided and the best food you can have after a hike! We ended the night with an amazing stargazing experience on the rooftop. Highly recommended.
