This intimate camp with just three elegant tents offers a truly luxurious experience. Everything felt new, from the stylish furnishings and cozy beds to the air fan. The spacious shower had lovely toiletries, and the plentiful meals were delicious. The welcoming hosts offered fantastic activities; our sunset dune ride was a highlight. The romantic campfire added to the magical atmosphere. Highly recommend and will return!

Surrounded by high sand dunes, AYLA Camp is located in a beautiful and peaceful setting, far away from other tourist accommodations. The limited number of tents ensures an exclusive and relaxed experience. Each tent is spaced generously apart, allowing every guest to enjoy their privacy and tranquility. Every tent is also equipped with a private bathroom. The interior design is fabulous, and the feel-good atmosphere is noticeable throughout the entire camp. There is a communal tent where guests can enjoy authentic meals together. The food was very delicious. Afterwards, you can relax late into the night, enjoying coffee and tea on cozy cushions. The hosts are wonderful people and are always available to help with any issues or questions. Communication was flawless. After we got stuck off-road with our private car, the hosts quickly came to our rescue. An absolutely recommendable experience!

An absolutely perfect desert experience! The camp is beautiful, the tents are high quality with super comfortable beds, and the whole setup is just what you’d want from a desert stay. The location is stunning – peaceful, authentic, and surrounded by incredible landscapes. The service was outstanding. Mohamed, the owner, is extremely kind and welcoming, and also the staff who took care of the food was also incredibly friendly and thoughtful. You can really feel the attention to detail – for example, we were given ice pops to cool down during the hot afternoon, which was such a nice touch! The food was excellent – fresh, tasty, and very generous portions. We also did a desert SUV ride, which was a great experience with plenty of opportunities to take amazing photos. At night, we were treated to a breathtaking starry sky – truly magical and unforgettable. All in all, just perfect. Super service, warm hospitality, and a magical atmosphere. Highly recommended!

The camp is brand new, beautiful and nicely decorated. Each tent comes with a private bathroom. Not luxurious but well functioning. The bed is super comfortable and hotel provides basic amenities - slippers, toothbrush etc. unexpected in the desert. The host in incredibly helpful. He came to escort us to the camp and back and helped us organize a sunset camel ride. The camp is small and quiet only few tents and there is a beautiful outdoor area for eating. Everything was perfect.

What a magical place!! You can definitely hear the sound of silence. Amazing hospitality and staff that make you feel at home. The bathroom is excellent. Even more when you consider where you are, with great water pressure, toothbrush provided etc. Bed is huger and super comfortable and so are the multiple pillows. Cute terrace in each of the tents. Quality is top notch. Activities provided upon arrival and we had great fun in the SUV sunset drive. Food was honestly great. Both quality and quantity. No camp nearby which makes it remote and unique. Only 3 tents for now, save your spot!!!!

The location was amazing in the middle of the dunes. Just three tents made the experience personal, we had a lovely meal prepared on site and those in the other two tents were great company. Mohammed took us for a thrilling spin in the car to see the sunset, well worth it.

The location and the camp facility was amazing. Food was delicious and nicely presented. During our stay, we saw goats and camels nearby eating grass. Mohammed took us to a thrilling sand dune bashing and excellent spot to see the sunset. Truly amazing experience and will definitely come back!

This place is absolutely breathtaking! With only three tents in the camp, it feels incredibly private. I was lucky to have the camp to myself. The camp is very quiet and far away from other camps. At night, the lack of light pollution makes for an unforgettable stargazing experience. The camp is run by Mohammed, who is very warm and welcoming. The tent looks just like the pictures and the food is delicious and plentiful. Activities such as camel rides and dune drives are also offered at reasonable prices. All in all a fantastic experience - highly recommended!

I would like to highly recommend this desert accommodation: we stayed in 6 places in Oman, but this was the best and most memorable of them all. The location, the silence, the dunes, the owners and the chef - AMAZING! Really comfortable accommodation, amazing food and dune experience, great activities and the sweetest part was communicating with the owner, thank you!

This is a new camp where the owners are keen to focus on making this a relaxing and uncommercial experience. We found it quietly spiritual being without even the sound of nature most of the time; although a desert fox and a few birds did call briefly around sunrise. The owners/hosts were keen to share their knowledge of their history and culture over supper and they also had a great sense of humour, mostly quiet but also gleeful, for example, when taking us dune bashing over and down some very steep slopes to see the sunset. It was very comfortable and luxurious in a simple and seemingly authentic way. The shower and toilet were well designed and included ecofriendly toothbrushes and of course the lamps were powered by solar power. It was impeccably clean. The only person that drove close to the camp was one pickup truck belonging to a bedouin herder who was on his way to tend to his goats, this time of year. We passed several other camps that seemed to have unattractive views and a lot of traffic. The food was authentic omani food, which on our independently arranged trip had been quite hard to find. It was delicious. Abdul Malik speaks perfect English. We had a 4 by 4 but they are happy to pick you up from Bidiya and beyond. We thoroughly recommend this camp and are planning a longer stay in the near future. We were aware it could get a bit cold (the drop from 31 to 25 degrees) and had brought a few layers - we also shared the evening with Abdul and Mohammed around a camp-fire. The tent was a perfect temperature and we had the best sleep of our 6 day trip that night.Rob and Jacky.

There are absolutely no negatives about this hotel; it is truly perfect and complete in every way. Everything is well-organized, and every detail is thoughtfully taken care of to ensure a wonderful stay.

Ayla Hotel is a very clean place with complete privacy. What I love most about it is the romantic atmosphere it offers. I had an amazing time with my partner and enjoyed an exceptional experience. After sunset, the place becomes calm and soothing, which I absolutely love. I really enjoyed the fire pit seating area, the spacious tent, and the overall cleanliness of the hotel. Everything about this place made our stay unforgettable, and I truly cherish it.
