The design and location were stunning, and every detail seemed perfectly planned. The apartments felt very private, and having wildlife like camels, flamingos and cows around the hotel made the whole experience truly special. I hadn't mentioned in advance that I have a milk allergy, yet the staff went above and beyond to take care of me. They prepared separate dishes for me at the buffet dinner, and the chef even came out to make sure my food was completely dairy free. The spa was fantastic, and it was a real joy to use. We like to work out even when we travel, and both the gym and the spa (steam room, saund and plunge pool) were much better than we expected.

There is a lack of sports facilities. I would suggest upgrading the tennis amenities - adding padel courts is a must in 2025.

An absolutely stunning hotel, harmoniously integrated with Oman’s preserved natural landscape. Exceptional quality of service, delicious food, and a warm, welcoming attitude from the staff.

It's a bit expensive but we don't regret it and should come back again on a later time, in sha Allah.

Exceptional staff and service, very quite and relaxing stay. The design of letting each room as if its own mini house is great vs regular hotels. It's an amazing hotel if you are seeking a private and refreshing change.

Luxurious hotel with all the amenities you could need for a stay in Mirbat. The room was very comfortable and all the extra touches were appreciated. Dinner was excellent and the breakfast spread was really fantastic. The staff are extremely professional and friendly. I was there on business and also appreciated the facilities in their meeting rooms.

I highly recommend staying at Alila Hinu Bay. It was truly one of the best recreational places I’ve ever been to. The setting is wonderfully secluded, which was exactly what we needed to disconnect and fully relax. We stayed in the pool villa and made the most of our private pool, which had the perfect temperature all day long. Since swimming in the beach wasn’t possible during our stay, this was a huge plus. Important tip: if you’re planning to swim in the sea, be sure to research the best season before booking. We visited during Khareef, which is not ideal for swimming due to the weather, but we’ll definitely return in a different season to enjoy it. As for the location, I personally found it perfect. Contrary to some reviews, it didn’t feel far at all. Yes, it’s tucked away, but that’s part of its charm. Plus, it’s still relatively close.. about 48 minutes to some of the most popular attractions. The drive was scenic and relaxing, so the distance really didn’t matter. Now, on to the staff, which truly elevated the entire experience. Raed was incredibly responsive and helpful, even before our arrival. His warm and professional communication via email and in person made us feel well taken care of from start to finish. I also highly recommend arranging transportation with Zaki. He was one of the highlights of our trip, kind, respectful, and always made sure we were comfortable and happy. There was another gentleman from in-room dining, possibly named Rajish? I honestly forgot, whose service stood out. He ensured every meal arrived hot and fresh with a smile. I wish I could remember his full name, thank you, nonetheless! Special thanks to Florina, who created a custom drink called Rosa Lady (not on the menu), which was absolutely delicious and refreshing, definitely ask for it if you visit! Also, a big thank you to Surash (hope I got the name right), who led a memorable cottage cheese masterclass that we thoroughly enjoyed and learned a lot from. Amazing job!

I think there could be more variety of foods in the breakfast buffet as it was mainly bread and egg.

The Breakfast was good and very tasty, although they were not many options in variety of food. I also liked the layout of the hotel as it felt like a resort.

While a bit of a drive from Salalah (about an hour by car - and you need a car), it's well worth it as it's located on the beautiful Hinu bay on a sprawling 45 hectare area. The resort is beautiful and very thoughtfully designed. It encourages exploration by foot or by bicycle. Fantastic spa with great treatments that are very reasonably priced for their quality. Two very nice pools on the premises as well. There's a nice expansive beach however the waves were quite high the time I went, so you could not swim, but I imagine during quieter swells it's a very nice beach to be on. Great breakfast selections at The Orchard restaurant, with dishes made to order, in addition to a nice buffet with pastries, cold cuts and fresh fruits. Great coffee as well. Nice options for dinner at Seal Salt and The Rock as well.

    - The hotel is quite large, which means long walks between facilities or waiting for golf carts, especially during busy periods. - Some outdoor areas (Sea Area) could be better maintained (possibly due to off-season or sea conditions). - Restaurants are overpriced compared to other options. - On the second day, breakfast was limited (no buffet), and the restaurant was understaffed, resulting in delays in ordering and serving. - Considering the price (almost double of most stays in Salalah), I expected a more consistent experience.

-Beautiful facility design, elegant rooms, and a relaxing atmosphere. -The infinity pool is stunning. -The breakfast on the first day was excellent: I liked the combination of a small buffet and à la carte menu. - Staff were friendly, helpful, and always available. - Peaceful location surrounded by nature, about 1 hour from the airport — perfect if you're looking to escape the city and relax in stillness and quiet.

Food needs to be improved, especially considering the price of the buffet. We had Indian and Italian options, Indian was good, but Italian was disappointing

The property is really beautiful and something unique. The stuff is super-friendly and caring, Ava was an absolute superstar. Rooms are comfortable and everything was very clean. Infinity pool was great too!

Service. We booked kayaking with the kids and when we got there we realised they had double booked internal hotel customers with external paying customers. Had to argue and get agitated with the reception staff to get them to give us a spot. 3 other rooms had experienced the same situation.
