Because it was off-season, the food selection at the restaurant was narrower than normal. The food available was still good. Wifi connection at the rooms may seem to be slow and transient, but it is actually working. The gimmick is, when the connection seems to be off, switch your device off and back on. Connection becomes smooth after a few off/on cycles. PS. The connection is best at the restaurant/pool area.

This is a nice beachfront hotel, about 15 km south of Al Ashkharah, the nearby town. Thanks to the location, it is a tranquil establishment, good for family stays. Restaurant is good, pools are clean and well maintained.

The hotel has an excellent location and the trip from Muscat towards it was very nice. Everything is clean and the staff is very helpful. One can enjoy the breakfast until 10 am, which is a nice change from a working day's usual time for this meal.

Bed for 3rd person: it was going to be matress on the floor in standard 3-persons unit (3rd regular bed was finally brought); Venice mirror (window/glass, which is transparent only one direction) - good idea (!), but ... installed backwards (so you can look inside the room from the ouside and from the inside you see mirror only); price of coffee (we stopped just for that 4 days later and we were charged sth. like 2-3 times more comparing to prices regarded in Oman as a norm)

Very good dinner and breakfast; general appearance / layout of the property, size of the unit. Comfortable location at the cost (for us on the way to Mesirah island).

A nice resort, not exciting at all, a little oldsih, needs to be renovated. Poor breakfast for western people (no cakes). Huge beach not equipped. Nothing around the resort, you just don't go anywhere but stay in the resort. Not much to do and far away from anywhere

Place is nicely located between the beach and sand dunes. Staff at the hotel was helpful and accommodating. You can rent the quad bikes and have a ride on the beach side. Rooms are clean and comfy.

Since years I visited this resort unfortunately nothing added. The furniture and surrounding area same. Thought there is a lot of things can be added and improve the overlook but it looks like the owner doesn’t want to invest on it. Soon they will be a new resort beside this one and no one will want to stay in this old resort if no changes.

The location is wonderful, opposite the beach and away from noise.
