Stoneridge Estate is my favourite accomodation I've ever stayed in. The rooms and facilities were amazing. Being out at Lake Hayes and away from the hustle and bustle of Queenstown was so relaxing. Wineries, Arrowtown, Ayrburn, Frankton Arm are all a quick drive away. The hot tub was great and the wine/cheeseboard each evening was a lovely addition. My partner and I enjoyed simply walking around the estate and looking at all the beautiful autumn colours. And the breakfast and coffee each morning was fantastic!

their AC seems not quite effective and we have to endure the heat for almost 2 hours till the temp dropped to a comfortable level

Stoneridge Estate was like a dream! The buildings and grounds were straight out of a fairytale and the staff treated us like royalty. The breakfast was the best I've ever had and the complimentary cheese platter upon arrival made us feel very special! Especially since we were able to have it while we enjoyed the hot tub!! It was a great location to be able to visit Arrowtown and the river nearby. Definitely the best place I have ever stayed!

Very hilly for me I had to get a lift either my Friends or your staff to take me to B/fast.

I loved the b/fast cafe late was very good fried eggs were perfect and croissant and Danish were very fresh.

The property has lovely landscaping located on a hillside with spectacular views. The owner and family work diligently to keep it looking and running smoothly. Brooks was exceptionally friendly and made us feel at home as well as the entire staff. Dining is excellent and we loved the special wine and cheese board in the evening.

Not keen on the older part where breakfast was needs modernised and decluttered

Breakfast was excellent and the staff went above and beyond. Old pArt of hotel could do with a freshen up but the retreat was stunning .

Not a thing!

Cannot say great enough things about The Stoneridge Estate! I came to this resort for my honeymoon, and we couldn't have picked a better place. We stayed in a Retreat Suite and were greeted with wine and a cheese board. The suite was beautiful, beds were comfy, and facilities were top-notch. The pool and hot tub were delightful, and we could have stared at the views forever. Definitely a place you won't want to leave!

As it’s a boutique hotel you need to be prepared in advance with timings, (something I didn’t anticipate with my flight times whoops) as things move slowly - part of the charm on a longer stay to help you unwind. I thought the selection of teas in the room could have been higher quality not just dilmah but perhaps I’m unnecessarily picky on this one

Check in could be improved by instead going through to the sitting room with the fire. A bit unclear about which rooms had access to what facilities EG sauna, gym etc (these are only available for The Retreat guests).

Huge and comfortable room. Amazing views! Lovely afternoon cheese plate with a glass of rose + a nice breakfast in the dining room.

Excellent location with spectacular mountain views. Spacious and very comfortable accommodation in an imposing, unique building. Friendly staff, unpretentious and always happy to help. Food of a high standard, especially the lunch after my daughter’s wedding.
