Was lucky enough to have snow at 10PM while in the spa, and woke up to a beautiful layer of snow the following morning due to the elevation of the lodge. Far away from the town district but we had no problems with this. Everything was impeccable. Huge, comfortable bed! Breakfast was brilliant.

Everything, the spa, the food at the restaurant, Chaminda was great with his service and was very polite and welcoming! The room I had was incredible! The birds singing and being surrounded by nature! This place is definitely honeymoon material!!

Starting to show some decent wear and tear leak above our room door and generally looking a bit tired. Could do with a overhaul or decent maintenance in public areas.

Spa area outside had black mould on concrete around the spa and dividing walls. Could use some water blasting and cleaning. There was ripped wallpaper in the room that hadn't been replaced/fixed. Also paint chipping on the ceiling in the bathroom. I thought the refills containers in the bathroom was a great idea but having a shampoo/conditioner combined is budget. Also, the pumps don't work well for body wash, shampoo/conditioner. Having written on them with a vivid also was a bit tacky. The double shower was quite small in comparison to the huge spa bath and probably unnecessary. The description here specified a coffee machine in the room; only instant coffee was provided and at the cost of staying in a deluxe spa suite I think instant coffee is again a budget option. Overall, it was a private, quiet stay but the whole place seems to be lacking some TLC and also lacking in atmosphere. The breakfast was just ok - also lacking anything special. Something to note the spa doesn't offer couples massage so spending that money in the spa in the Hanmer hot pools complex is a better option. The view from the dining room and our suite was probably the nicest part of the stay.

Didn’t realise you had to drive down a gravel road to get there, although was well maintained. Shower leaked all over the bathroom floor but there was a drain on the floor. Outside of the rooms in the hallways were freezing cold and the lift seemed a bit dodgy and made weird noises and clunked a bit.

Excellent stay, the room was lovely and we had a fantastic time. Food was amazing, the cheese platter was worthwhile getting although not enough crackers for the amount of cheese provided. Amazing pressure in the shower. Had a sauna in the spa with instructions on how to use.

I wish I knew about the facilities that this place had to offer (gym, sauna, spa, massages) before arival but aside from that the restaurant is a but pricey for it is presented beautifully a la carte style but the fishes lack in any special flavors

There definitely needs to be some good maintenance done. The taps in the bathroom were loose, there was a ceiling light out of place, a few little things… all easy enough to fix to bring the standard back up.

Yummy breakfast, warm rooms with a comfy bed. We felt like we were so far away from the city hustle and bustle. Beautiful spot! Staff are kind and friendly. We were lucky to have picked dates where we almost had the place to ourselves.

There was blood left in the room from previous domestic violence event with previous guests. Also the bathroom spa bath and toilet needed a good scrub. Felt like it let the property down quite a bit. Also no apology from management.

A large, beautiful room with stunning views :) Absolutely loved the king-sized bed, the outdoor spa tub, and the giant spa bath!!! The restaurant was amazing - our dinner and buffet breakfast was delish. It was our first time in Hamner Springs, and it was definitely a beautiful place to stay at while enjoying everything Hamner Springs had to offer :)

Unfortunately the lounge area didn’t appear to have been cleaned for a while. Very dusty, dead insects on the carpet, tables needed to be wiped. There was also what appeared to be dried blood on the floor in the reception area. The white comforter on the bed was quite stained (brown and yellow patches). The Netflix usage was unavailable - it said there were too many people logged in at the same time. The fire alarm went off about 7am as a false alarm but we know that can’t be helped.

Super comfy bed, child’s cot available which was great. Large rooms, lovely spa pool and spa bath. Great breakfast, friendly staff.
