Great stay here on our way down to Milford Sound. The staff were so attentive and really helpful when we were trying to sort tire chains. The room was spacious and comfortable and had everything needed to do some cooking. Location is perfect just off the lake. Highly recommend!

The room was in the new block, built 2018. It was double glazed, facilities well thought out, and had everything we needed. Comfortable bed, large space with good storage spaces for our stuff which was very welcome. The chairs were comfortable, including the dining chairs. Plenty of electric sockets too!

The staff is great. Luk is always willing to help. However, the place probably needs a renovation or at list a refresh. In addition, the apartment was cold and clearly needs more winter heating. However, if you are looking for a budget for a couple of nights, this is a good option, with a good location and ok facilities.

Lack of heating could be a problem in the colder months the bathroom was already quite cold.

Perhaps the best room of any motel we've stayed in, with separate bedroom, large bed, and great shower room. Everything was much more spacious than expected and reception was very helpful. Te Anau centre is but a short walk away along the lake.

The extractor fan in the kitchen would benefit from a good clean. Everything else was spotlessly clean.

A very warm welcome from Luke and he gave us a larger apartment. It was very spacious, comfortable and very clean. It was dated but that made it a little different - yellow worktops straight out of the 70s!

Great manager so helpful. Lots of nice touches to make the rooms even more comfortable. Great location round corner from lake and bars and restaurants. Good organised parking. Nothing was too much trouble. Gem!

Highly recommend this place to all. We loved this place. We found it so cosy, spacious and the room was very well accomodating with all cooking and washing needs. Car parking was easily accessible. We were a late checkin so they heated our room prior to arrival and easy instuctions to find the place which was so very welcoming and they assisted with wonderful cot set and cute bedding for our little one. The service here is impeccable. We are excited to come here again in the near future. Many thanks again for having us. Donna and Mark :)

We were in one of the "retro units" which we worked out was code for not having been renovated in the last 15 years or so. The unit was fine - but very tired looking. The bed was very hard.

Nice motel, with 2 bedroom unit that was very roomy. Reasonably priced laundry services for guests, and really helpful staff

Red Tussock was a pleasant place to stay. I was staying on two separate stays, a day apart due to an overnight cruise, and they let me leave my stuff and car there which was a pleasant surprise. The rooms were comfortable and well equipped. Location was only 15 min walk to main town centre.
