Price could have been $40 cheaper but I guess the location makes it worth the extra.

Room is well appointed and clean. We were upstairs so had a great sea view, which you get with all rooms so bonus there. Shower was hot and bed was comfy.

The wifi connection wasn't as good in the avo and night as it was in the morning.

Value for money especially since you are right next to the beach. Room was clean. Sky worked awesome and were lots of channels to choose from.

It is slightly outdated and could do with a bit of modernisation but it wasn’t falling apart or unclean by any means.

Location was excellent. Outside of the town centre but right next to the beach with fantastic views. There are a number of shops and restaurants walking distance from the motel. Motel is spacious and clean, plenty of tea and coffee too.

A little tired and outdated in places

Older property but open yr door and look out onto the beach, nice outlook. Had kids so the play area a few metres down from the motel was welcomed. Comfortable and good value for money

We didn't visit in summer so can't speak about outside facilities or anything like that. We did see a laundry room which looked well equipped so would be great for guests staying longer too, although again we didn't get to use the facilities there.

The motel was located near the harbour and they weren't lying about the sea views! The shorefront is only a few steps away and if you walk a little further down there is a lookout where apparently you can sometimes see little penguins. The room was great, very spacious. The bathroom was separate and so was one of the bedrooms, the double bed was in the main room which also had the kitchenette, dining table and sofa. I was particularly impressed that the kitchenette had a full sized oven with stovetop, although we didn't need to use it as we only stayed one night, it would be great for a longer stay as you could cook full meals. I also loved the jacuzzi bath, it was great to use to relax after a busy day of walking around Napier and the attached shower also worked great. There were plenty of towels provided as well as toiletries (soap and shampoo). The beds were comfy, they had heated blankets too which was great as we visited in winter - there was also a radiator and separate heater. There were tea and instant coffee provided as well as milk in the kitchenette. Tip: the motel don't like curry or fish being cooked in the kitchenette and will fine you if you do - I noticed the sign in the kitchenette when we stayed.

The location was perfect for us. Looking out to the boardwalk and beach but also very quiet. The room was very clean and had a separate bedroom, we'll appointed kitchen, glass slider out to two loungers. The tv had so many channels, my husband was happy. There were so many restaurants nearby to suit all needs and a short walk to the marina to watch the boats come in and out. Bbq areas and tables at the beach, which is a great beach for swimming and play areas for children. It really was a super location and accommodation and we will definitely stay again.
