Being short I found the locked box for the key was too high up for me to see the numbers. I would have liked the ability to have some brighter lighting in the main area. It was difficult to get ready for a special function with such dim lighting.

The house was quite cold, even with the aircon heater and radiators on. There is a fireplace but no firewood to light. That was a shame. So we were a bit cold at night. The kitchen while equipped with appliances, could do with a few extra dishes and cooking utensils to make self-catering a little easier.

The cabin is on a private property with 2 other cabins close by. The view of the mountains is stunning. It is a short 5 min drive to town, but you could walk. It was very quiet, but then we also were the only people at the accommodation. I would feel a little less comfortable if the other buildings were occupied as they were very close together. The kitchen had a microwave, stove, oven, dishwasher and full-sized fridge. The lounge/dining area was perfectly adequate and the house decorated nicely. We even had a carport for the car which we appreciated as it rained while we were there.

The accommodation is located on a hill upon the Wanaka town, which has a beautiful view of the Autumn mountain and courtyard. The decoration of room is bright and cheerful. Although a 10-min drive is needed to the town, it offered the different view of the mountain which will be a unique way to explore Wanaka apart from the lake.

Very clean and tidy house. Rooms were very comfy. The environment is just superb. We saw a group of rabbits hopping around the house when we came back from dinner.

Pillows were too high and hard, so I just used one of the cushions instead. Not a problem really. It's a long walk from the centre of town so keep that in mind if you all want to have a few drinks.

Lovely decor in the room, they thought of everything. Washing and dryer was easy to find and use.

The WiFi would not work on our iPhones for reasons we could not identify. A shame that there is not more of a kitchenette area, as would be nice to make dinner in the evening. Felt a little strange not interacting with any staff on arrival or throughout our stay, but we were able to navigate and access what we needed.

Had a lovely stay at this lodge just on the outskirts of Wānaka, set in a very beautiful garden. Room was very comfortable and nicely decorated. The views from the room are stunning on a clear day. We loved the location, being just on the outskirts, as when you then head in to town, you get the amazing view of the lake and mountain backdrop. We also very much appreciated having some washing and drying facilities for our clothes.

Only 2 teabags, 2 towels and 2 tiny pots of milk supplied for 4 people. Dishwasher provided but no dishwash powder/tablets.

Walls too busy, recommend removing some of the large wall hangings as bright colours on wall clashed with wall hangings. Felt that it was harder to relax with the clashes of colour. The view outside was so much more relaxing

Bed was comfortable, great to have microwave and crockery. Gardens were lovely to walk around. Great to have access to laundry.

can't really go for a walk outside as it is a narrow countryside road, there is no walk path.

have all equipments for cooking, quite and very spacious. The property itself is big enough for a little wonder.

The double bed was, in our opinion, very uncomfortable. It was extremely hard and unfortunately neither of us had a good nights sleep. It would have been nice to see someone when we arrived. The garden and decking was lovely, however, some shade would be appreciated.

Being a bit picky, would be good to have a selection of pillows as we found them a bit too high for us but the bed was awesome.
