A wonderful getaway destination & accommodation. We loved the beautiful surroundings (trees, bird life & song) and a nice hot tub under the stars in the evenings were the highlights. The automatic fire made the place feel cozy, along with the heat pump meant it was always warm even though it is winter. The smart tent features elevated the luxury 'glamping' experience to another level and added a fun element to our experience. Great location, close to shops & restaurants. Enchanted Retreat is not far from Te Mata Peak where we watched the sunset one evening, it was spectacular!

The whole experience was enchanting! The hot tub, the comfort of the bed, the technology, the view, actually…..EVERYTHING!! The hosts have thought of every detail imaginable. A magical experience!!

What’s not to like! Everything has been thought of. The kitchen was well appointed and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The deck and hot tub were fantastic. The “smart tent” features were a treat and made setting the mood through music and lighting a breeze! The couch and bed were super comfy and cozy. An incredible experience overall 😀 Would absolutely stay again in the future.

Fantastic accommodation in a magnificent setting. Richard & Lucy have thought of everything to make the stay as idyllic as possible. Beautiful views in a beautiful setting while living in supreme comfort. Simply brilliant!

Could do with update of amenties, candles all finished, soap, shampoo was lovely brand but empty now supermarket brands in bathroom. Cutlery not full set anymore. Fire in pics unavailable now, we asked council had said not allowed anymore. All little things it is an amazing place & could be a 10 again with these few adjustments.

The view is spectacular. The tent was awesome. The owners and info all great. Loved the bathroom. Beds and bedding all fab. Easy to find.

Nothing really that we didn't like but would say since it was raining the day we came in the tent had a slight wetness in the air -- I would suggest a dehumidifier or turning on the heat earlier to take that moisture out of the air.

Loved the vibe and feel! We were able to relax and enjoy the deck, rooms were spacious and everything met our expectations. The grounds were well kept and parking was abundant.

The entrance to the property is a bit hidden. Definitely follow the directions by the owners and don’t rely only on your own navigation system.

Does take awhile to get a decent amount of hot water.

The place is done up beautifully, well equipped and technologically advanced! The experience was one of a kind. We enjoyed using the hot tub on a slightly cool day, and had music playing throughout thanks to 'Alexa'.
