Refreshing pool, friendly and welcoming staff, nice clean rooms, free bikes to explore the area.

Raj and his family were so hospitable, went out of their way to help and make sure we had a good time. Lovely people. The pool was perfect for the heat and the location just outside of town was so peaceful. Loved going around on the (free) bikes

We had a great time at hippie colony! Raj is super nice and accommodating. He helped us get tickets for the Tharu cultural show. The pool and outside area are great! And you can ask for AC in your room.

The location is lovely – peaceful and surrounded by rice fields, yet still within walking distance into the center of Sauraha. Our host was absolutely fantastic: he took care of everything – from organizing all our Chitwan National Park tours to arranging and booking our bus rides, including pick-up and drop-off. What made a big difference is that he used to work as a guide in the park himself. He has tons of experience and great connections with other guides, so he was able to help us choose the right tours tailored to our interests. The room was very comfortable and clean, and the pool was perfect for cooling off after a full day walking through the jungle. We felt completely at ease – a clear recommendation for anyone wanting to explore Chitwan in a relaxed and well-organized way!

Raj and his family are very welcoming , they prepared us good food and made us feel like home. Raj helped us book any activities we wanted during our stay and was always there for questions . The place is located between rice fields and has a swimming pool, it is the perfect place to relax after a hot day in the jungle!

I love that the location is in a rural setting yet just a lovely 10 minute walk into town following the road that the elephants take.

Shiva's hippies colony is an oasis not just in chitwan but all over nepal. Proper swimming pool, comfortable beds, in nature yet walking distance from sauraha. The service is spot on, Rajendra and his team will ensure you have an unforgettable experience, could not recommend more!

The owner is very friendly and helpful. He picked us up from the busstation, arranged jungle tours for us, got our loundry done and booked a busticket back for us. The food was all very good and big portions. The room was comfortable and clean and the swimmingpool was also very clean! The location is beautiful, surrounded by mustard fields. Definitely recommend this place if you’re planning a trip to Sauraha!

I recently stayed at this hotel, and I had an exceptionally positive experience. First of all, the comfort and convenience in the rooms really stood out. The beds are incredibly comfortable, there’s plenty of space for storage, and the bathrooms are clean and modern. One of the highlights of my stay was the pool – spacious and with crystal-clear water, making it perfect for relaxing and unwinding. I also have to mention the chef’s work. I wanted something special, and the staff responded with professionalism. I requested apple pies, which weren’t on the standard menu, but the team enthusiastically took on the challenge, found the recipes, and made a delicious dish. Their approach truly deserves recognition! Moreover, the hotel owner arranged a tour for me around the local attractions, including 20000 Lake. This thoughtful gesture was both pleasant and unexpected, adding even more positive emotions to my stay. Overall, the hotel left an excellent impression, and I can confidently recommend it to anyone looking for quality relaxation with a high level of service.

We had a great stay here! It is outside of the town, so it is very nice and quiet in the rice paddies. The pool was great. Raje is a great manager, brought us everywhere and always made sure we were okay. And made us feel like part of the family. The rooms and hotel are better than the pictures show

Amazing, friendly, kind and helpful Ram and the stuff. The location is superb, you are in the middle of rice pads. Spectacular sunrise and sunset. The rooms are big, clean, comfortable, with ac. The swimming pool is a must. You will feel like home.

The room was big and clean and the bed was comfortable

just before I arrived I was told there was someone who wanted to extent their stay, so I had to go to another hotel for one night (which is not how it is supposed to go as I booked earlier). I explicitly said I wanted the pool which was not there, so I had to go up and forth for the pool. The next day I could move to this hotel, so I decided to make it a travel and pool day, but when I arrived the pool was empty to be cleaned for the whole day.. Moreover, the last night there was a party among the Nepalees employers from which I couldn’t sleep. Also, the food was also not that special, not much options for vegetarians and also relatively expensive. As there are only 4 rooms, it is very quiet but the employees are there on the phone with sound on all day so not a relaxing atmosphere while laying at the pool. I got a small discount for all the inconveniences, but even tough the service was not at all friendly as in the rest of Nepal (they explained every extra cost with: we also have to earn money) and therefore I would not recommend it.

This is an amazing place. Super comfortable rooms, the swimming pool is amazing and the views from the place are beautiful. They also have bicycles available for guests, so you can take one and go to town which is a 15 min ride.

Out of the 4 nights I stayed, there were 2 nights that the hotel was hired for parties that went on till passed 1 am. This means not only loud music, but also the inability to use comfortably the common area of the hotel, so basically I just stayed in my room during the night and tried to sleep with the loud music.

The swimming pool is a real treat in the heat and to relax around and meet others. the beds are very comfortable and the rooms have a rear balcony giving a nice view and a shady space to read in silence . With the bar it is a nice place to meet other people.
