Visited with my family and had a pleasant stay in Hotel Portland. Ms. Kretee & Ms. Sidhika were very attentive and prompt to help and address any of your needs in no time. The owner was also very welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was good with nice variety on a daily basis. The AC room was very clean with daily cleaning facility available and had a balcony with beautiful view of the mountains and lake. Good value for money. Thank you Sushant Acharya for a remarkable management during the breakfast hours, Hari Ranabhat & Pabita have been a good host during our 5 days stay.

Hotel Portland offers a cozy, well-maintained space with excellent service. The rooms are clean and modern, staff are friendly, and the location is convenient. A great choice for both business and leisure stays!

Nothing to complain about

Very friendly staff, we booked for the bed and breakfast option. Hotel food was great, it had both Indian style as well as English breakfast. The room was OK. the view was ok, but somewhat disturbed by other buildings' roofs etc. The rooftop is very nice you can have a good view of the Pokhara Lake and the Himalayan mountain range.

The water in the shower runs outside the shower, which is a little inconvenient.

Worth its money. The staff are very polite and helpful. We left early in the morning and didn't have time for breakfast - they offered us fruit to take with us and helped us with a taxi.

Had a wonderful stay here. Location is great and they even upgraded us to a better room since it was available. The best part was, however, the super friendly staff. Kriti, a young female staff member, took such good care of us and was an exceptionally friendly and helpful host. Looking forward to visiting again!

Roof top terrace had great view but not set up for guests to use. Minimal seating and used to hang washing out.

The staff were amazing - Indira in particular was exceptional managing the front desk and proactively taking care of all my travel needs making me feel at home in Pokhara. I think our room was right next to a club which had music going till 5am which made it hard to sleep. The bathroom had no proper drainage so the whole floor became soaking wet after each shower

Staff were very kind and helpful. We had a hike and they let us leave our bags in the lobby at no extra cost. Rooms were comfortable and clean - good value

One thing that I mention as a negative was about light coming from air conditioner, which was so bright that sometimes ruin our sleep at night. We couldn’t shed it as it was super higher :)) sometimes at night we heard noises which ruined sleep either. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay at this hotel.

Officers, room size, cleanliness and its location were perfect. There was so kind and helpful officers. One of them was a girl named Kriti, who showed us so generous hospitality and kindful approach in our needs.

Staff seemed to use the room opposite in their spare time and it could be quite noisy when they were using their phone or chatting to each other.

Room 501 was on the top floor and had excellent views of the lake and mountains from both the sitting room and bedroom. The room was nicely furnished and staff replaced the towels each day. The buffet breakfast had a good range of Nepali and Western food. Indira and Kriti on Reception were very helpful and friendly. The waiter in the hotel was also very helpful and friendly.

Just an issue with sockets, you need to ask reception to bring a multi plug, but this is not the hotel issue, I’ve realized it is a common problem in Pokhara.

So helpful staff, clean and big room with terrace, very good breakfast! Enjoyed our stay!
