The best hotel in Kathmandu. Me and my sister came back several times after trying out other nearby hotels. Somehow nothing was as good. Great food!!!!!

The hotel was very conveniently located. I liked the outdoor garden with trees, plants, and flowers. Breakfast was excellent and restaurant assistants/ staff members were kind. All of the hotel staff members were very kind and accommodating. Throughout my stay, Sanjil was helped and took care of my stay by frequently checking my whereabouts and needs etc. For example, I had to buy an electronic computer/tablet for my work. Sanjil kindly helped me purchase it with me on his bike with moving around the town to search for electronic shops. Thanks to his help, I was able to get a device and finish my business trip successfully. I will stay here again when I visit Kathmandu next time.

The hotel has great and friendly staff who are most helpful. The rooms are very clean with a comfortable bed. We were very happy with the beautiful and peaceful garden. A true hidden gem in the middle of Thamel. My 5-year old daughter loved to watch the fish in the pond and sit on the swinging bench. The breakfast buffet is very extended with food that serves all tastes and nationalities. We will come back to Nirvana Boutique Hotel during our next visit!

Clean rooms. Great breakfast. Friendly and very helpful staff. Thankyou Choten for your golden nuggets of sightseeing information and arranging the in-house driver for our tour. He was so good and helpful also. Felt safe. Also they let us leave our luggage at the hotel whilst we visited Pokhara for a few days. Definitely recommend staying there

It’s next to a school, the kids were very distracted and threw things at us from the window.

Great coffee! Very important. And the staff is very helpful and the breakfast is surprisingly decent. In the shopping and night life district and a short walk to the Kathmandu Durbar Square. Definitely recommended.

The hotel is older and bathrooms definitely showing age particularly bathrooms. More attention to fixing poor drainage in bathrooms after showers and changing shower curtains more frequently.

Great budget hotel for backpackers, trekkers etc. Lovely quiet garden to enjoy breakfast. Breakfast offered a good selection of both European and Asian food. Rooms were a good size and were cleaned every day. Aircon worked. Staff were very attentive. Mountain, Sun Valley treks and expeditions right around the corner so we didn't have far to go to sort last minute details of our trek.

I think the room facilities - several things were not initially not working, but put right later.

The hotel location is just outside the busy Thamel which is super busy. It is very quiet and has a lovely garden. The staff are courteous and friendly.

I was having a problem with the door lock that could be fixed otherwise everything was really very good including the hotel garden area the bed was very comfortable and the garden area really very peaceful this is my first time at Nirvana boutique hotel and i was really very happy

The breakfast was really very delicious and the reception staff the chef on the omelette station and the Staff on the coffee bar was really very sweet and helpful.

I didnt like many things and as explained above i would have given lower rate: 1) the room was on the 2nd floor and no elevator. 2) the water in the toilet or the sink was coming out with a very intense rusty smell..even the toilet water is obviously yellow..and it took me days before i realize that only the hot water from the sink is the one that comes with this rusty smell ..the cold water wasnt which is good. 3) the towels were yes clean but not so white..they gave a sense of not so clean. 4) the breakfast in the diner didnt have many halal options, i only ate one day and kept ordering after that…have i known that i wouldn’t have paid for a (breakfast inclusive room) 4) i saw a rat running in the diner which isnt great especially in a place where we sit to eat. 5) i also didnt know that there is a school beside the hotel and when i tried to sit in the balcony i either get distracted by the noise or i didnt find any privacy bec of the children who kept looking.

It was mostly the staff and the receptionist..they were all so kind and professional. I have this rate higher than i want because of the girl on the reception..she was sooo good and resourceful..she helped me with almost everything with a smile on her face..and so are the rest of the staff who were welcoming and helpful..cheerful and so generous and kind..many thanks for their great attitude really. -the staff on the diner/restaurant were so great as well..they kept giving me ketchup for free and mint leaves which i really appreciate so many thanks to u all really.

The bathroom had a bit to improve - the bath and shower were not in the best condition and the lavatory button for the water flow wasn't consistently functioning.

Great place overall, except the bathroom as per the next section. But awesome staff, room was comfortable, the bed, too, the food was nice and the restaurant vibe and the garden is great!!
