Staffs did not pay attention on clealiness. Room and bathroom were infested with cockriaches and insects. Sometimes they approached on beds and ceilings. Pillow was thick and uncomfortable. When asked for a thin pillow no one responded. So this time stay was not worth the amount I paid. I also did not like a little black dog roaming in the restaurant and the lobby. In fact it should not be likely to exist such scenes. I have to think twice to be there for the second time at the dame condition. I will have no problem to stay at this hotel again if problems are fixed. Cockroaches .... oh my god

    food was ok

The hotel, although nice, was noisy from other guests. The location of the hotel was good but no grounds around it, not a very appealing setting, dusty and barren. There were frequent very short power outages. The jetted bathtub in my room was a waste as it took a very long time to fill up, and there was not adequate hot, or warm, water to fill it. I found Lumbini to be interesting but a big disappointment as the park was not well maintained, visitor centers were not open or staffed, there were what looked like abandoned areas, lots of construction, stray dogs and begging kids and adults harassed me, overgrown vegetation and weeds everywhere, and many temples not open at all, others not open during the hours posted on information boards. There were places in this park that would make for a great movie set for a horror or zombie film as it often felt like a post-apocalyptic dystopia walking around it.

My room with a king bed was spacious. The air conditioner was a must because it reached 107 degrees Fahrenheit (42 Celsius) in April. The TV in room could be used for some limited streaming services. Bottled water, kettle, instant coffee, tea, and bathroom essentials provided. The hotel restaurant had a varied menu and was good, as was the breakfast buffet that could be added on for $5 per day. The staff was kind and helpful. Given the other choices around Lumbini, I think this is the best hotel for the money.

Our jacuzzi tub leaked water everywhere and apparently did not work. But the shower was good even though it soaked the whole bathroom floor.

A very serviceable hotel with large rooms twenty minutes walk from the Maya Devi. Nice views over the rice paddies and very quiet. Serves lots of tour groups. Rooms are very large and have a refrigerator. Strangely, our room had a jacuzzi tub yet still had an open floor shower. Lots of hot water and good food.

Nothing much. We gave them clothes for laundry, but they were returned folded but half-wet due to the cold in Winter. It means they do not have a tumble dryer.

One of the best properties to stay in Lumbini. Excellent restaurant, again one of the best in Lumbini. We did not find a better restaurant than it for fine dining. Rooms are spacious, clean and luxurious. The hotel was better than the reviews and their card machine works. Which means they have acted on past reviews.

Service in restaurant was sometimes very slow. We resolved this by pre ordering our meals in advance

Good location between the Unesco site where temples are and the main town market area. Front desk manager was very helpful and professional. The restaurant team did their best sometimes I think they were short staffed which may have been reason for delays as mentioned below.

Nice stay but potential for improvement

The room's furnishing could be improved - like having privacy curtains for the windows, clothes hangers, hair dryer available within the room instead of having the guest asking the front desk to bring a hair dryer to the room. While I didn't visit during peak season and guests were sparse during my stay, and I can understand the hotel trying to save the cost of electricity, the hall way should be lit at night instead of leaving the hall way in darkness. For this, I am taking 2 points off the rating.

Nice to have a large room. The jacuzzi bathtub in the bathroom was unexpected but a nice bonus. Restaurant was accommodating to our requests and food was descent.

The restaurant was a little bright in the evening and could benefit from lower lighting and a bit more ambience. Perhaps some music.

This is a lovely hotel with spacious rooms including a jacuzzi bath, which was quite the luxury after the very bumpy bus journeys across Nepal. The staff were very friendly and helpful, particularly Umesh who helped me get my bus to Chitwan and even dropped me at the bus stop at 6am. There isn't so much for tourists in the way of restaurants in Lumbini so I ate in the hotel restaurant both nights and the biryani was possibly the best I've ever tasted. Good breakfast and they even made me a packed brekkie for my early morning travels, which I was very grateful for. Lumbini is less than a ten minute walk from the hotel good location wise.

Front desk staff wasn’t overly welcoming or friendly. Credit card machine wouldn’t work upon checkout, despite trying 4 cards. We were rushed to get to the airport and staff wanted us to go to the ATM. At the end, they let us leave and we got cash to send back with the taxi driver. Very unexpected cash expense, but it worked out.

Room was spacious with great a/c and WiFi. Breakfast was cooked a la carte the day we were there and plentiful. Despite being down a gravel road, it was very well located to access Gate 5 & Maya Devi temple and nearby restaurants.

    1. The property felt damp and stuffy. 2. Through messaging, the hotel said they would pick me up from the airport as a courtesy with no charge. When I was checking out, the front desk added that charge to my total (which I would have been okay with paying had that been the arrangement). I told her someone had told me it’s complementary and showed her the message. She made a few calls then said the charge is waived. Perhaps it’s just poor communication on their part, but still created a bad experience for me. 3. Prior to arriving, I asked for assistance with arranging a ride to Chitwan. At first they told me they’ll help me book a ride. When I asked about my options and the costs, they told me to go to the airport and take a cab. I asked for clarification, then no reply from them. 4. The checkin / checkout process was lengthy and confusing. Felt like the staff was very short with me whenever I had questions.

Great location. About 10-15 min walking to the main attractions.

Even after 4 days my trash wasn’t taken out and the cleaning staff hadn’t stepped foot in my room. The food was not good and far too expensive. It was still a nice hotel overall, but for what I was paying, it was a complete scam. The service could have been far better for what I paid.

The Terai plain was hot, and I sweated too much, so I wanted to take a hot shower at night, but only cold water came out. I called the front desk, but no matter how many times I called, there was no response. I was tired, so I went to bed without taking a shower on the first night. The next night, there was no hot water either. So I went to the front desk and asked directly. The receptionist said, "The wiring is broken and we are repairing it now. It will be fixed in 30 minutes or an hour." So I said, "Then please call me when it is fixed," and went back to the room. However, no matter how long I waited, I did not receive a call. So I went to the front desk again, but she had already gone home. So, the night watchman said, "Hot water will be available in 20 minutes," so I waited, but still no hot water. Then he said, "It's night, so there is no one to repair it. Hot water will be available tomorrow." It was very disappointing that there was no hot water in the bathroom during my stay. All of our guests have had the same experience over the past few days. Even so, the staff is irresponsible, as is typical of Nepal. Why would they make such an excuse? I should add that the room was not even cleaned during my stay.
