The hotel has a great location in a more quiet street of Thamel with the shops and restaurants around the corner. Also durbar square is in walking distance. The staff was amazing and super friendly. They helped us with everything from advice to booking activities and arranging taxis.

This hotel and it's personell remind you what Nepal is all about.Thamel streets are so crowded, and can be overwhelming at times, but when you come back to the Hotel, the personall makes you comfortable and relaxed.Rosie and Pa Sang are rhe best:D See you!🌈

The water quality in Nepal is not very good, please prepare more mineral water! But this is not the hotel's fault!

There are not many types of breakfast, but they are delicious; if you don’t want to go to the restaurant, you can ask the waiter to deliver it to your room. The waiters are very polite and considerate! The interior of the room was cozy and very clean! I love the view from the room window, very beautiful。

I looked for hotel to stay more time in Kathmandu for remote work. And this one proved to be a very nice choice! Location is in the quiet dead-end of the street, so no noise from traffic, and view is to the inner courtyard Staff is very polite. Restaurant meals with room delivery is better than in the restaurants nearby!

The location- very central to everything happening in Thamel but in a quiet side street so you don't hear the noise. The staff are very helpful and nothing is too much trouble. A very comfortable bed, good bed linen and towels and a great shower. Really good breakfast a nice mixture of Asian and western.

We stayed in a suite, which was spacious and comfortable bed. However, the bathroom has an awkward design and tended to stay wet. A renovation would really improve the overall experience.

I would to really say MINGMA TAMANG was the best part of my stay . She assisted me even with my to do on my 1 day stay in Nepal and schedule itineraries. I had the most wonderful stay, and I genuinely want to thank the entire team for making it such a warm, comfortable, and memorable experience. A lovely small Nepalese owned hotel in a quiet street. The bedrooms are very comfortable with soft (but not sunken) mattresses, block out curtains and no road noise. The restaurant is excellent with a varied buffet breakfast and the lunch and dinner meals were also excellent. The staff were all amazing, genuinely friendly and helpful. There is also a great spa nearby.

Kumari Hotel was comfortable and quiet for my stay. It looks lovely and traditional and the rooms were comfortable and very quiet. The location is also great. Away from the noise of Kathmandu but just minutes from the centre. I had some personal issues when I was there and I needed to make some emergency phone calls in the middle of the night. The staff were so good at helping me and the next morning they were so reassuring and nice to me when I was emotional and upset. I will never forget their kindness. Thank you to all the wonderful reception staff for helping me and trying to make me feel better when I was dealing with some stressful.issues when I was far from home and feeling scared. It's a lovely hotel with beautiful staff. I recommend to other travellers!

Very central to downtown Thamel but situated on a quiet road away from the madness. The hotel staff are very helpful, and always greet you with a smile.The breakfast was very nice as were the rooms. Absolutely nothing to complain about, and I would recommend this hotel to anyone. I will be staying again for a few nights on my return from Pokhara.

Wonderful stay at Kumari Boutique hotel in Thamel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I traveled solo and they were always keen to help me with taxis and answer any questions. This hotel doesn't have the frills of a western hotel chain but it's comfortable, clean, safe, and a good location if you want to be in Thamel. Bed was super comfortable...imo! Room cost is very affordable so you can save your money for excursions, shopping etc.! Hotel also offers airport pickup for $10. Much more expensive than a taxi but if it's your first time to Kathmandu and you don't want any hassle haggling for a taxi out front or stopping at the ore-paid taxi stand it's a nice piece of mind. Drawbacks were that the included breakfast doesn't offer much choice and during my stay the pastries seemed stale. Coffee is only instant but on the plus side, you can order from a full cafe next door for a discount and the Kumari staff will bring your cappuccino, Americano whatever to your table on the super cute patio.
