I wish they could clean the short cut to the main street, I know it isn’t their area but would make a big improvement.

Be aware there is no elevator but they carried my luggage to 4th floor.

Staff is very helpful, it is calm for a good night rest. The garden is lovely for the morning coffee. Great value for $. Nice terrace view. Room with AC.

This was my second time staying at Aagantuk Hotel which speaks for itself. This time round I had a noisy neighbour which once alerted to the hotel staff sorted out within 5 minutes, again a big shout out to Milan for his service. room is spotless and borders on the 4 star. Food was great, location was wonderful. Will definitely recommend and will return to on my next visit to Nepal.

Excellent, from Milan's impeccable professionalism and helpfulness on the front desk, to 5 nights of peaceful sleep in a comfortable bed, this hotel goes beyond on the call in terms of service and cleanliness. Food was great. Attention given to every detail of my stay, such as automatic water refills. Will definitely be returning after my trip round Nepal. Would recommend without hesitation.

The bed was rather creaky but perfectly comfortable.

The food was great and dining in the garden was very atmospheric. Room was very nice with a balcony and nice view of the garden. Not to forget the staff were all incredibly helpful and friendly! I’ve stayed at two other places in Thamel and this was my favourite. If I do return I will surely stay here again 🙏🏻

Personal choice - the scent from the air freshener in the bathroom was bit strong for us. But, we put them away and it was no problem afterwards. Some people might like the scent.

There's no lift and for elderly people it's very difficult to go up.

Very nice staff, very helpful. Since there was no lift I arranged another hotel and I was given refund by Aagantuk staff without creating any problem which really impressed me and I am really obliged for that. For young travelers I suggest to choose Aagantuk for stay.

The tea kettle needs little more cleaning, and a safe for keeping the valuables would really add more value to the hotel.

The hotel is conveniently located near Thamel and offers all the comforts one would expect from a small establishment. They graciously allowed me to check in early, which was very helpful as I could store my luggage and start exploring the area immediately. The rooms are exceptionally clean and tidy, featuring comfortable beds. Considering the price and the facilities provided, the hotel exceeded my expectations.

Everything was great. I have nothing that I didn't like. Just keep in mind that if you need to go to the airport, going between 5pm and 7pm can be a nightmare, so plan accordingly.

The hotel was the perfect location for me. I was able to walk to restaurants and shops. The food I did eat at the restaurant was delicious and so affordable. I ended up staying longer than I had originally anticipated and everyone was more than accommodating. The overall cost of my 8 nights, laundry service, and meals was amazing! I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Kathmandu. And the monkeys walking on my balcony were a bonus!!

I am not satisfied with the same vegetable Item Mushroom and potato maximum days. Please try to change the vegetable Items according to season and avability.
