Great place out of the town next to the river. The owner was lovely and very helpful with organising safaris and buses.

Bathroom needed a little clean but nothing terrible.

the owner was great. i went with a couple of friends and he sorted everything for us, safaris, buses to next locations, even took us to a local dance, it is slightly further out but he is always happy to drop off and pick up. great value for money

The location is beautiful. The working team is so nice. I highly recommend.

Located away from the centre this was an ideal place to stay. The proprietor of the hotel was very friendly and could not do enough to make our stay enjoyable. We stayed at the hotel for breakfast and evening meal and these were exactly what we expected, providing Nepalese meals rather than western offerings. We used Dilip to organise our trips within the National Park. He accompanied us on both days along with another local guide. There knowledge of the Park and the animals within were exceptional and we were glad we chose to go with them rather than other organised tours offered in the main town. I'm not sure we can offer enough praise for the walking safaris that were organised as both guides went out of their way to ensure that the we experienced the National Park at it's best. We chose a half day jeep safari where they were not present and the knowledge of the guide then was a lot less, Dilip even arranged for us to be picked up after the day had finished. Although being out of the town it is close enough to travel to it if you wanted to experience the restaurants on offer.

There was nothing we did not like about stay there

We had the best time at the Hong Qi hotel. If you are looking to stay somewhere peaceful but not too far from the town then I highly recommend it. The Hong Qi hotel will loan you pushbikes free of charge so you have the opportunity to take a short but beautiful cycle ride into the town or you can cycle around the National park and fully immerse yourself into the beauty of the landscape and culture. Be prepared to cycle next to elephants! It was an experience we will never forget. Such a beautiful place and everyone is so friendly and welcoming. Krishna and his team did a great job at making us feel welcome and at home throughout our stay. All the food was freshly prepared. There was a hot shower. Air con and a fan. A beautiful view from the balcony. We stayed longer than planned because it was so nice. We will definitely we back in future. Thank you Hong Qi hotel!

Nice hotel with cool room and Krisna the manager is really available.

Complimentary bicycles , water, hair dryer, kettle in room, Kitchenette, washing machine on site. Fresh linen and towels. Krishna's famous macaroni and cheese dish!!!

The place was clean.

The owner is a liar, basiclly. He offers extremely overcharged prices to do activities in the national park. You can find much lower prices in the agencies in town. It's a SCAM. He'll tell you that he is "from the company", but is not true. The hostel didn't have hot water, so I had to bathe with a bucket. To get hot water, they gave me an electric kettle. The location is quite far from the city. Think that many activities in the park stars at 7, and he (the owner) will want to charge you to take you there.
