United KingdomWe spent four nights at Hotel Green Valley Nagarkot in early May 2025. We stayed in Room 105, on the first floor and with a corner balcony that afforded fantastic views. (We were offered one floor up but preferred the first floor as it was nice to have views of the scenery and the trees – we are interested in birds! – for unobscured mountain views you’d be better off on the second floor.) Our room was very comfortable and cosy. Having explored Nagarkot a bit I’m confident that Hotel Green Valley occupies the best location in town, you truly can get sunrise views from your bed! But at the same time are only a short walk from other amenities and hiking routes. The food at the hotel was of a very high standard and the portions extremely generous. But I think what really makes Hotel Green Valley stand out is the exceptional customer care delivered by the staff, especially Sudip who couldn’t do enough to make sure we were happy during our stay and Ram who was so keen to make sure we had the best room. One of the very few hotels in Nagarkot which actually has a mountain side view from the bedroom balcony. You need not go elsewhere for Sunrise View. It's available right outside your room window. Hotel is pretty old, but maintained well. Rooms are spacious, reasonably clean. Bedsheets, Towels etc clean. Reasonably good restaurant present in the hotel. They gave us limited menu, but good fresh, hygienic complementary breakfast. 24 Hours hot water supply present. AC working well. Unfortunately there was so much fog that we couldn't have a view of Himalayas.
