The workers at the reception were really kind and helpful in every regard. The rooms are nice, clean and I especially appreciate the big locker. The location in Thamel is great and the whole hostel has a nice style and good vibe. Again the best part, were definitely the workers at the hostel. I really enjoyed my time here and the flexibility (checking out at 5 a.m. wasn't an issue). Another big plus was the laundry. For 150 Rupies per kg (1 USD) you have your dry laundry back 24 hours later

The bed is quite big for a hostel and I appreciated the curtain. Additionally there was enough storage space in the lockers and the location was quite good. Check out was possible at 5h30

I hardly ate at the restaurant because I don't eat meat and I don't like being in an atmosphere where alcohol is being consumed,I also try to avoid wheat so the pastries which looked amaizing were not touched by me.

I loved it all...I had a very comfortable bed with a bed overlooking a tree and because it was monsoon the birds would come and shelter in the tree.

I can’t say enough good things about this hostel, when I became unwell they looked after me, drove me to hospital and always would check up on me to see if I needed anything afterwards. They were so kind and friendly, the reception staff were unbelievable, thanks for a great stay 🙌🏻

Amazing and clean hostsl in Kathmandu. You don't regret staying here. The beds are amazingly comfortable. A huge safe storage under your bed to keep your stuff while roaming around the city. The staff are amazing, nice and very helpful. Food in the two resturants of the hostel is great and you experience the best view ever on the rooftop. I am so happy with my choice and I will always go back to Flock if I get back to KTM.

Beds are extremely comfortable and have curtains for privacy! Bathroom facilities are 10/10. Staff are beautiful. AND the restaurant is the best in all of Thamel for sure! The views from this restaurant are incredible, the food is very high quality and the menu is extensive. I had to come back here for another stay. Definitely recommend. And very close to popular bazar (good for buying hiking gear).

Contacting to arrange pick up involved me contacting through every means possible to get a reply. Water in tub is rusty looking and jets dont work Railing on stair up to roof would be nice.

The staff is so friendly and nice, Especially at the cafe upstairs— the gave me endless plastic wrap for my new tattoo and very friendly all around. The roomtop view is super nice. Pick up service was super nice and clean car. Also they carried my heavy bag up like 5 flights of stairs. I got an executive suite since it was my last two nights in country and it was really nice. Luxury of a bathtub looking out was really nice and it was a very spacious suite. Cafe had big list of food and all of it delicious

With a common kitchen and a real co-working space with windows the place would be perfect for a longer stay.

Good location, close to Thamel and to the tourist bus stop as well. Safe place for solo female travellers. The bathroom was clean with good running hot water. Clean bed and pillows. Our room on 2nd floor was very quiet. Staff were very polite, helpful and flexible. As I took the night bus from Pokhara I arrived very early in the morning, but they let me in the common areas and even could check in around 7 am without paying any additional fee. Highly recommended.

1)No common kitchen - but you can get hot water from the restaurant for your coffee. The rooftop restaurant is also great, amazing views and the staff there are very polite and helpful. 2)If you need a quiet room to work, the common room downstairs is not the best as it's not a dedicated co-working space - you're sharing it with everyone else who is not there to peacefully work - but it's good enough. In that case, just get a private room. 3)No elevator, but they do help you with your luggage without you needing to ask. 4)No dedicated room to keep bags after checking out, they keep it in the reception. 5) Please fix the bed curtains.

Had the female dorm and it has the most AMAZING VIEWS. Good location as it's just a short walk to the Durbar Square. The bathroom is kept clean, and there's hot water. Clean bed and pillows. Wifi can be spotty but they have a lot of accounts to connect to, just in case. Met a couple of travelers whom I shared dinners with and a walk to the Durbar Square - fun experience.

The staff were friendly, easily approachable if we needed anything. The room was large and comfortable. Free toiletries, hot drinks and water available. Replenished whenever requested. The onsite restaurant was a great bonus. Great food and drink choices at good prices. The rooftop dining area was a great place for a meal. Also, Flock staff arranged our airport transfers. The rates were fair too.
