Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. Very comforttable hotel. They respond immediately and efficiently to messages. A good spacious room , with a very good shower and comfortable matrass. The service was excellent , always present but not intrusive. There is a nice large swimmingpool. And the monastry is also really beautiful. They arranged for me a sound healing and it was really great. The food menu surprise me with the low prices and the high quality even als the drinks like a cocktail Magarita. Delicious and complete affordable. I spend the last of my two days in Nepal here and I highly recommended it as a way to end my stay in this beautiful country.

Hotel Dolmaling was such a nice find, we had originally booked a room for two days at the start of our trip but loved our stay so much that we decided to cancel our other hotel reservation and book with them again on our way back! 10/10 stay, the staff was lovely, they have a lovely restaurant on sight as well so you don’t have to leave the location if you don’t want to. However, if you do decide to venture out, the Boudha stupa area is just a short walk away for shopping and sightseeing. The room itself was clean and included a very comfortable bed, a tv, kettle for coffee or tea in the morning along with an AC. The bathrooms were also very clean and included shampoo, conditioner and soap. Our stay was very peaceful, and we loved every minute of it. Thank you to Hotel Dolmaling and their staff for making our stay in Nepal memorable.

This is my 2nd visit to Nepal and fondly remember my first trip my accommodation is a modest Monastery guest house. My stay at Hotel Dolmaling during my 2nd visit to Nepal is wonderful, clean room, cosy bed & modern bathroom. Good breakfast every morning. Location wise is just a short walk to Boudha stupa. NepalThe room is not entirely soundproof. A lot of echo from guests walking through the corridor disturbed my sleep at times.
The facilities were all very clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. The room I stayed in was in the new section, so everything was functional and well maintained. The restaurant has a varied menu, and the food was good. The location is great, a short walk to the stupa but away from the noise. Many stores and small cafes around the area too.

NetherlandsThe facilities seem outdated, and the carpet in the room seems dirty. Breakfast options are limited. The hotel is hidden in small alleyways so it's difficult for indrive taxi drivers to find. Traffic nearby is always busy, so taxi fees are higher than other parts of the city. The hotel charged me the exchange rate on my day of arrival, instead of real-time rate on the day that I tried to pay. Also, that exchange rate was slightly higher than the actual rate.
The hotel has its own spacious courtyard and temple, which means it's tugged away from the busy city and is very quiet. I finally got a great night of sleep after days in Kathmandu. It also got a nice swimming pool and spacious rooms. Staff are friendly.

We arrived very early, like 10AM, the reception staff did everything possible to offer us a room as soon as she could. She gave us the WIFI password and we sat in the lovely lobby for about 20 minutes enjoying a cappuccino while they were getting our very large room ready. The picture of the temple is the view from our balcony. The size of the room was impressive, and it was perfect to re-organize our luggage before leaving to Bhutan. We spend the day finding what we needed in the city and had a nice dinner at the hotel, we were up early and they were kind enough to set up the buffet breakfast by 6 AM. We are going back on our last day before going home. Thanks everyone for the nice welcome!
