We had such a wonderful stay at Devo Boutique Hotel in Kathmandu! Special thank you to Mr. Rabin, who is excellent in coordination. He’s very attentive to guests’ needs and is even willing to assist in arranging your tours to make your trip hassle-free. We also appreciate Mr. Sujit in the restaurant, who makes amazing coffee and goes out of his way to assist you so you can have the perfect breakfast. Aside from the hotel being spotlessly clean, it’s also great value for money. The area is safe, and the surroundings are walkable as you’ll never go wrong staying in the Thamel area. This time I come to Nepal is just for my nephew. He finished his middle school education, so I took him to Nepal for a trip. We lived in this hotel for 3 nights and when we came to Kathmandu from Pokhara, we still lived in this hotel. Very good service, nice breakfast and every time I need help, they helped me to solve the problems. I strongly recommend this hotel.

Great location. Stones throw away from the main Thamel street. Yet it's not noisy at night. Had a peaceful night's sleep. Was given a welcome drink and plate of fruit on arrival which was a nice touch. Mr. Ishan was very helpful in arranging me transportation for the rest of my trip in Nepal.

The staff were, to a person, among the best I have ever experienced. They were attentive without being overbearing, and always helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable. The location is so quiet and peaceful that you forget you are but steps away from the controlled chaos of Kathmandu. The buffet breakfast is great and changed everyday. The property is well-managed and an absolutely enjoyable experience in every sense. Definitely recommended.

Leaving!

Devo is an oasis of tranquility amidst the craziness of Thamel. Our 5th floor rooms were quiet, breakfast was very good with a rotating selection of hot food, and both Rabin and Salina took good care of us including organizing rides to Besisahar and Bhaktapur.

Very enjoyable stay at Devo Boutique Hotel. We spent 4 nights in total and will definitely come back at the next opportunity. Very friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms with comfortable beds, tasty and plentiful breakfasts and a la carte dishes and location in the heart of the city.

Rabin, the manager, is very attentive. Old style Nepalese Hotel is a tranquil corner of central Thamel. Excellent coffee and breakfast. I have another night to stay. Perfect for your Nepalese trek.

I found the comforter too warm so I had to switch on the A/C set to 18 C in order to sleep well.

Everything! Rabin, the manager is super-friendly and helpful. He arranged our complimentary pickup from the airport and subsequently a driver, Pradip, to drive us the 6 1/2 hours to Besisahar. Pradip was great. All the staff are ever so nice and make wonderful cappuccinos. Breakfast was outstanding, with differing selections on the 3 mornings we stayed here so we didn'tget bored. Maybe the best aspect is that the hotel is located on a short, one-way street on the north end of Thamel so it's quiet. There are many good (e.g. Western Tandoori & Naan house) and some bad (e.g., Khohang - taste of Thekali) nearby.

The bathrooms don’t have a shower screen which is common here but can be a different experience with the bathroom floor wet.

Great location in Thamel walking distance to plenty of sites. Very helpful host who is able to provide suggestions at different price points and organised the Mt Everest scenic flight for me. Great breakfast with variety and different options different days. Friendly driver.

The hotel is really clean and the location is perfect. Further more the staffs were really friendly and helpful. They even provide one way shuttle service to or from the airport and even upgraded us to the supreme suit. The breakfast was served everyday fresh and with a lot of choices. Will recommend further.

Hotel has probably the best location in Thamel - quiet and at the same time close to the center. The owner, Mr. Rabin, was very welcoming and helped us a lot with information on Annapurna hike we were going to. The staff is very polite and caring, the breakfast is really tasty, a transfer from the airport included :) Really good value for the price.
