How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the owner, Mr. Ranjan Bhandari, who is one of the most humble, respectful, and helpful people I’ve met. He truly goes above and beyond to make sure every guest feels comfortable and taken care of. His passion for hospitality really shows in the way he manages the place. The breakfast every morning was amazing fresh, delicious, and prepared with love. It gave me the perfect start to my day, especially before heading out for the tours and activities. What impressed me most was how friendly and caring the entire staff was. They didn’t treat me like just another guest — they treated me like a member of their own family. Every interaction felt warm and genuine, and they were always ready to help with a smile. The location itself is peaceful and surrounded by nature, which makes it a perfect escape from the busy city. They also offer a wide variety of tour options, from jungle safaris to canoe rides and cultural experiences, and everything is very well organized. Whether you're visiting for relaxation or adventure, they have something for everyone. Overall, I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Chitwan. The hospitality, the food, the comfort, and the overall atmosphere created by Mr. Ranjan Bhandari and his wonderful team truly made my stay unforgettable. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Verified review1) Dinner and breakfast were fantastic! You won’t believe it — the next day's lunch was exactly the same as dinner. It made me wonder if it was just leftovers from the previous night. 2) The team was really supportive — they arranged the jungle and elephant safari over the phone, and the team even came to the hotel to pick us up."
1) I had initially booked one room with a triple bed, a single bed, and two double-bed rooms for my small kids. However, to my surprise, the hotel didn’t have such a room available upon arrival — which was quite shocking. Eventually, they admitted their mistake. 2) The staff service was even more disappointing. There was no one attentive enough to listen to our concerns — I had to go down to the ground floor every time just to request basic services. 3) The room itself was untidy, had a foul smell, and many of the amenities were not functioning properly.

The toilet was damaged, no toilet paper, towel not provided even when asked, poor wifi. Breakfast wasn't on time. The pillows are dirty, it needs to be thrown out.

I didnt liked anything. My guest was there and he was very upset with the service. And the way the staff spoke. Useless. Doesn’t mean if you pay cheap, you will serve them cheap. Typical uneducated peoples.

Pictures of the hotel not representative of the reality; disappointing. Staff was really nice but sometimes too omnipresent in our stay, not letting us any space. The day of the departure we were awake before them while everything was planned the day before for us to have bkf and leave on time. At the end “eat fast please the tuktuk is waiting”. They woke up 45 min late we were waiting for them. Not reliable and serious at all.
