Small dorm accommodation, not as comfortable. The shared kitchen, dining and bathrooms were small and not well organized. No staff the be seen. The property overlooks construction on the other side of the harbor which was a bit noisy at times. I wouldn’t say it was a charming place by any means, but as a transit to other places it’s perfectly fine to stay a night.

Well located by the water front and close to the ferry to Nusfjord especially if you plan to take your bike there.

The kitchen was a bit too small considering how many people used it. There was only one bathroom for many people.

The room was clean, the linen and towels were provided and the beds were comfortable. The equipment in the kitchen was provided. The host very responsive and friendly.

Security was non-existent - the main door has a lockbox for the only key but was left unlocked at all times - it needs a keypad type lock if no staff are on site so people can access with the code while keeping it secure. The dormitory didn’t even have a door, just a curtain! And outside was the kitchen and common/dining area so often noisy. Also, no lockers or storage in the dorm room, plugs randomly spaced around rather than by beds, and no privacy curtains on the beds. The room also doesn’t have blackout curtains so in summer is light all night - bring an eye mask and earplugs! Only one bathroom between about 10-12 people, which has the toilet and shower combined so can be stuck waiting for ages.

Good location and lovely view over the harbour. Right by the main road, not sure how close the location is for public transport but if you have a car it’s nice and close to Leknes for shops, and a good base for various hikes.

Nobody to explain which is your room. You get the one which is free. Cod drying just next to.the home..so some bad smell

The shared kitchen was lacking a proper number of pans and other equipment given that it is shared for multiples rooms. The shower was fairly blocked meaning water wouldn’t drain away correctly.

Wonderful location right on the harbour. Lovely room. The hosts were very available and responsive!

The apartment had a bit of a smell but you get used to it quickly!

Very soft comfy bed. The host was very helpful and friendly! Quick to answer messages and offer local tips. I was lucky enough to have the whole place to myself! The double room is in a different apartment (looks more recently renovated) than the single and dorm rooms. The kitchen looked new and was great.

Sometimes when I got inside it smelled a bit weard, but that was just for one moment. Other than that everything was perfect.

I really liked the concept of sharing kitchen and bathroom. Because of this you can meet new people from all over the world. Everything was clean und the kitchen/living room was really beautiful and even had a great view.

As everyone said, the walls are paper thin and all the doors creak, bring earplugs! I wish there were at least one more toilet so you wouldn’t have to wait for people to finish showering.

Great price and good location for us. Basic hostel accommodation but met a good group of like minded travellers. Great hike up the back to Nonstind. And saw Northern lights on the evening. I don't understand some of the negative comments - it's a hostel- if you don't like sharing don't stay! We had a fantastic 3 days.
