There is really only one menu although the terrace, bistro and restaurant have different names. Making reservations for dinner was not straight forward. We ask for a reservation on the terrace but were told that was not possible In the evening, about half of the tables on the terrace were reserved. Same applies for breakfast, although there was plenty of room. The sink in our room leaked. After repairs, all the towels were gone and not replaced. We had to go to reception to get new ones. The mattresses need replacing but are still serviceable. There is no coffee in the room.

Nice, quiet room; Great location near Maastricht; beautiful grounds; The ancient trees are beautiful; very friendly staff. Great breakfast in a very comfortable breakfast room. Plenty of free parking; WiFi was reliable and fast; relaxing on the terrace with a drink was perfect.

Some of the room decor felt a little outdated. Everything was clean but the room wasn't giving the same level as the rest of the hotel. We arrived by train and it is 20e to get a taxi from the train to the hotel one way and there is pretty much no other option unless wanting to walk min 20mins with bags.

Thank you we had a wonderful stay. The grounds, the breakfast restaurant and the restaurant on the grounds were lovely spots for catching up with friends. The room was comfortable and good sized.

Beautifull Venue in a beautiful location. The dinner was lovely and the Hotel made our trip to the Andre Rieu Concert very easy. The view of the gardens was great (but due to heavy rain I could not experience it.

Service could be a bit slow and certain doors were locked at night but no one had told us so we wandered around for a while trying to get back in

There were plenty of young staff who were lovely but didn't appear to be anyone directing them. Long waits for a drink first night when plenty of staff. Book a table you go in and no one is there and no one came. Had to go to the bar for attention. The wash basin was in the room and not in the bathroom.

The rooms a bit simple when compared to the rest of the hotel. Their is also no air conditioning so in summer nights it can get quite hot inside.

The common areas are absolutely stunning and the park around it is just so peaceful. Breakfast buffet is very extensive and complete.

Lovely and interesting location from an historical perspective, brought to light with playful and poetic explanations all over the property, beautiful surroundings and a lovely English landscape park, a good restaurant with pleasant staff....a great place for a relaxed start of the working week!

Room was rather basic No Fridge, no kettle, no streaming services.

Location is superb. Wonderful well maintained grounds. Nice cafe for daytime and cozy bar for the evenings. Breakfast was amazing. Dinner in the lovely restaurant less so. Burger was very poor. Staff excellent throughout and lovely atmosphere. Super dog friendly.

The room was rather disappointing. It was very small, located in the basement, and felt quite basic. If not for the castle setting, it wouldn’t justify the price.

Staying in a castle is truly a unique experience! The historic building is stunning, with well-maintained grounds and a charming atmosphere. The breakfast was excellent—diverse and delicious—and the staff’s attention was much appreciated.

As the price rate is premium, some basic thigs like daily room cleaning, ready towel slipers ( they say no slipers available) should be delivered. Also, the menu for lunch and dinner is short for selections.
