You're not completely alone, but passers-by do have quite some distance that even recognizing faces is hard. You have to be careful what you flush through the toilet.

Serene little island connected by cute bridge. Very cosy and thematic house. Enjoyed the jacuzzi and fireplace a lot. Very easy to relax, in or outside. Loads of privacy. No contact needed with hosts.

The shampoo in a bathroom is mixed with water 1/5 or even more. Feels very not pleasant and also doesn't clean. I hope the host will fix it for future guests.

We were second time here with my husband. Beautiful location. The house is clean and very very cozy. Lots of cute ducks come for a visit. My special regards for a welcome sparkling wine in a fridge. I usually have big problems with falling asleep even in my own bed, but I was sleeping like an angel there. Truly relaxing place.

The weather, but not much the owner can do about that ;p We didn't use the hot tub as it was just too cold outside... However still the outside looked great and the rain falling on the roof had is charme also.

It had been 10 years for my girlfriend to visit the Netherlands. So I wanted some place special for her to adept and us to be together the first days. And oh my... it was special. Very nice located with all green around. Ducks and Swans around, beautiful surrounding with stunning statues and greek atmosphere. I was just great to walk around. The inside was great, very cosy and a open fire in the middle. We loved it as well as the look and feel. Very nice and appreciated.

I had difficulty seeing in the low light environment, especially in the kitchen. The couched were not very comfortable.

I loved the setting. I wished the weather had been better so I could spend the majority of my time on the deck. The bed was very comfortable, and the shower was great!

The name is very well chosen! It is indeed a real paradise. It seems like you enter another world and you can feel that everything is made with love! Full privacy because the house is on an island that only you can enter. There is a beautiful parc around the lake that invites to have a walk. And if you want to come with your family or some friends, there are also other beautiful accommodations available. The owners are really creative! We had the pleasure to shortly meet Rob - what an interesting and welcoming person! I can only recommend and will be back as soon as possible :) thank you very much!!!

Nothing, it was perfect.

The style of the accommodation itself was magical, as well as the grounds on which it is located. It is obvious the owners put a lot of love and passion into this place. It’s aptly named: truly a paradise. The owners are very friendly and accommodating as well.

This place was so unique and amazingly put together for romance and relaxation. We loved it. The jacuzzi was incredible. The outside speakers which I could connect to my iPhone and playlists were a bonus and the best was so comfortable I didn’t want to get up.

It was our third time at this beautiful place and it is still as unique as it used to be. Paradijs Eiland is a great vacation house. Here you can feel the natural tranquillity of the Netherlands.

A little pricey for our budget. The kitchen area was really dark with very low lighting. There should have been, in my opinion, facilities for any less than mobile guests. We had a disabled friend visit (for which we had permission from the host) and the toilet was unfortunately impossible for our guest to access. We were offered the use of a toilet in another building but this would not be ideal for anyone actually staying in the property. To be fair we haven’t any mobility issues and it was booked with that in mind.

The hosts were really lovely. The views of the lake were stunning. The jacuzzi was really nice although, through no fault of anyone, the weather was far too hot to enjoy it.
