Have to take a taxi to get to lake shore~$15/person Or to go anywhere else if you want to visit the vendors or mirador in Catarina or market in Mesaya. A little isolated.

Not a negative but be aware that families come on weekends to eat and use the pools since they are so nice. So it can be busy at the pool around lunch on weekends.

This was our second time at Pacaua Lodge. We love the hotel, the location, the pool and the amazing view of Apoyo Lagoon. The rooms are super nice. We had booked the suite this time around, simply wonderful. The food and drinks are excellent, too!

Pacaya lodge hotel was a beautiful property with a breath taking views. The service from the staff was exceptional and inviting. The rooms were beautifully decorated, well lit, sanitized and squeaky clean. All the rooms have AC installed to keep you cool from the outside heat. Amenities were great, food was delicious and drinks were refreshing. I’ll definitely be coming back!!

Pool with a beautiful view, as on the pictures! Very kind staff that even stayed longer in the evening only so we could eat something (communicated via whatsapp with us) as we were the only ones in the hotel.

Noise from next hotel was disruptive to the peace at Pacaya sometimes

Pacaya lodge and spa was a great place with beautiful nature surrounding the hotel which made the stay magical. I regret staying there for a short time but now I know for next time. The main purpose of this trip was to explore various parts of Nicaragua and see which one I can focus on better on my next trip. The staff is amazing and highly attentive to my needs and if anything happened to us. They went above and beyond for my stay there at pacaya.

Best romantic gateway. Excelente staff, amazing music, and the view can't describe with words, you have to be there to see it, and it will get your mind in a gratitude mode and profund relaxation.

The restaurant could have been more consistent. What we loved one day was not as good as the next. For example, the first morning, we had a nice fresh fruit plate, but no fruit the second. Overall, the food was just ok.

The hotel is situated high above the laguna, perched near the top of the crater. The view of the lake from our balcony was lovely and there was always a breeze, sometimes quite strong. We were happy for long sleeves when the sun went down. Our room was beautiful with local art, side tables on both sides of the bed and a great big bathroom with walk-in shower Breakfast was included in the room rate and was a typical Nica breakfast, which we enjoy.

The pool area was lacking in lounge-type chairs and although service at breakfast was wonderful. the service at the pool was slow and unmotivated.

EVERYTHING!!! From the staff, the food, the location. We were only supposed to stay for one night, but once we arrived, we decided to extend our stay. Unbelievable location. The staff was 5 star and couldn’t have asked for better service.

It is a bit over priced based on what you can find in other top touristic destinations lime Tola, Granada or Corn Island. The service people are lovely, but you have to wait quite a bit for the meals in the restaurant.

The location is exceptional. Our main suite had a unique view of the apoyo lagoon right in front of our bed. It was beautiful to wake up to that view.
