The rooms got very very hot as no AC. Could have been a bit cleaner.

Great location in the centre of town. Yummy breakfast of pancakes one day and gallo pinto the next. Decent kitchen and courtyard.

- breakfast only includes one pancake which really doesn't make you full. We also asked for more but were denied - it's kind of loud with the bars at the beach plaxing their music bit i guess that is wht you get in order to be so close to the beach

It was really loud during the night. The music from the bars and the karaoke was till 1-2 am in the morning really loud. And the bed was too soft.

It is in the City Center and you can walk everywhere. The stuff was nice and the room was big enough.

I woke up with more bites every morning. Not sure if there were bed bugs. Our room was incredibly humid, so needed the fans on constantly.

Had all we needed. They arrange excursions for guests. Had a different breakfast served each day of our stay. Relaxed, not noisy if you visit when we did-December. Great location.

The pillows could be better. They didn't charge me but said they usually need a $10 deposit for the one towel they give you. Being a short block from the beach and those restaurants, the noise was a bit loud sometimes at night.

The rooms were good sized. AC worked very good. Large window if you want to air out the room. Good basic breakfast, usually a large pancake and a cup of coffee. Had cubed fruit one day, and beans and rice another. Very helpful and friendly staff. It is a very short block from some very good restaurants that are on the beach. Good location. They offer regular shuttles to nearby beaches and back to the airport. I did use them for the personal shuttle picking me up from the airport in Managua.

Staff had a bit of an attitude. Friendliness was missing from most of them in my opinion. Felt impersonal due to the wrist band system and the breakfast ticket system. Room with fan was the hottest room I’ve had during 10 months of travelling. Somehow the room didn’t cool down even with 3 big fans. No hammocks in the communal areas anymore. This is a missed opportunity.

Location is perfect. Breakfast is nice. We mainly booked because it was one of the cheapest options.

The water had a filter but tasted like dirt. Even the free coffee had the taste. The room was quite small for 4 people.

The staff were all so friendly and they have a cute dog! Breakfast was delicious but could maybe use some fruit. Air con was a game changer but I think it’s only in one room.

The staff could be nicer but it seems to be a thing in San Juan del Sur.

The room is simple but has a nice day light and is quite spacious. Wifi works well. You share the bathroom only with 1 more room. I liked the terrace in front of the room with a hammock. You get a pretty big pancake for breakfast.

We stayed over New Year’s Eve and as it is a very central location we could hear music from our room all night. Communal areas are basic and no good places to chill. They look better in the pictures.

It was very central and near the beach. We were lucky to be one of the only rooms upstairs so only shared a bathroom with 1 other room and had a hammock. The front desk guy was very friendly and helpful despite our limited Spanish.

It's very noisy because of the great downtown location. You can hear the restaurants and clubs from the beach. The breakfast was a plain pancake. Some fruit would have been nice.

The rooms are quite hot with just one fan. You should be used to it travelling Central America but be aware it’s very hot at night.

Such a great location! The whole hostel is really clean and tidy, they even service the rooms while you’re there with fresh sheets, clean the floor and bathroom etc. It was lovely.
