Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

SwitzerlandWe had 1 night in the arcoiris hut, it's very small, hot and the mosquito net is annoying. You are in the jungle - > big insects everywhere. Possibly in the room as well. Restaurant meals lack some spices.
Great staff, cool workshops, pizza parties are fun! Restaurant uses a lot of homegrown vegetables! Price is good. We met wonderful people here. We did 2 nights in the bamboo hut, which is big and nice.

There's lots of activities in the hostel (donation based for most), right in the middle of the farm so cool location, restaurant is reasonably priced

United KingdomIt was insanely loud. Doors, ceilings, and walls had big gaps in them so people in the room next to/ above you literally felt like they were in your room they were so loud. Packs of street dogs howling like mental in the night. Compost toilets didn’t smell nice compared to other compost toilets I’ve used.
The permaculture farm was absolutely amazing and so was the food. Hostel is in the middle of a food forest and there was so much beautiful wildlife.

GermanyIf you have a room close to reception is great. Not as a hippi vibe as thought lot of younger backpacker. Food is good but pricey and the portions are for small people otherwise you need two portions.
It is a remote place close to nature with not many special things. Animals and not the cleanest things are part of this. Program is a big plus, but if they offer Yoga and then it is based on donations and then at least 100 Cordoba is a bit off Wifi works well.

GermanyI felt like it wasn’t very clean in general. there are spider nests everywhere. Dogs and birds sit on the tables next to the kitchen, and within the six days of my stay I saw somebody wiping them only once. I never saw somebody wiping the floors or cleaning the showers..
All kind of Workshops, Yoga, Meditation in the middle of the jungle.. Excellent food Great schedule of activities Great community

IsraelThere is a lot of bugs around (really the middle of the forest) be prepared! They do provide mosquito nets.
It’s hard to give it a rating in booking because it’s an ecological farm. I loved it! Compost toilets, outdoor shower, an amazing vegan (some of it is farm to table) kitchen, free yoga every morning and lots of lots of good beautiful people and plenty of activities. If you know ecological leaving or want to experience it I recommend.

ItalyThere is no real chill area, just quite uncomfortable wooden tables and chairs! The bathroom and shower are too spread out far from the rooms and you always have to walk a lot to get to them, quite annoying especially in the evening when it is dark and there is no lighting at all in the hostel and you can only move around equipped with a flashlight The food in the restaurant a little too expensive, and the portions really too small. On the last night because the dormitory was full they offered me a private room but did not tell me that it was practically attached to the area where they were having a party. Until 1 a.m. I could not sleep. It didn't seem fair and I found it very profiteering
I liked that the hostel is surrounded by greenery, the permaculture project is really interesting and the hostel organizes so many different activities every day! The free yoga in the morning really appreciated and the hostel is so big that you can walk a lot and reach even a small viewpoint The hostel is about 20 min walk from the road but the path to get there is well-maintained and very easy to follow

AustraliaIt is a little hike up to get there then also from the room to the shower and toilets, very out in nature so bugs and animals which I don’t mind but if your afraid of insects and spiders this isn’t the place for you, toilets are drop toilets and there was a tarantula in my room 😂
A very authentic jungle experiance, good if you want to reconnect with nature and explore, very relaxing and a good vibe.

Germany- some of the houses/ forms are very far away from the reception - it is impossible to walk around after the sunset without a lamp/phone - the dorms are open which is good for wind and ventilation but bad for animals coming to your bed unexpectedly - mosquito nets aren't in the best condition and you have to install them on your own which is irritating because they slide during the night and you have to repeat it again in the morning - the closeness to the nature is sometimes too much ( wild dogs having fights or howling monkeys wake you up at 3 or 4 am and you cannot sleep anymore).
- very close to nature - interesting location - you will always meet some interesting people - a lot of free/ cheap activities - low price
