This place was a little slice of heaven. I booked it last minute and my only regret is that I only stayed for one night. It was just hte most lovely place--delicious food, wonderful amenities, the kindest staff. Being right on the lake and waking up to the sunrise and sounds of the lake can't be beat. Don't miss this place.

We had the most relaxing, beautiful stay at Casa Marimba. It was the perfect way to kick off our trip to Nicaragua. The property is gorgeous and so peaceful. We loved sitting on our balcony each morning with our coffee. A must stay!

The property is gorgeous, and I wish we would have stayed more than one night. It's amazing to listen to the howler monkeys in the evening and first thing in the morning.

The food in the restaurant was delicious, but needs more variety on menu. I do recommend the pizza and croc sandwich.

The room was badly ventilated, even though it has a fan and aircondition (extra charge!) air feels stuck. Air con is directed right at the bed, but fan doesn‘t reach the bed. There is no Wifi signal in the room.

Staff was super nice and attentive. It‘s a pet friendly place, so we had a great time with our dog. Food and drinks were very delicious

A couple of small things. The front desk isn't staffed until 7 making an early checkout difficult. This is the only lodging I went to that charges extra for AC.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and the grounds were beautiful. The restaurant meals and drinks were delicious. The location right next to the lake was perfect. I would definitely stay here again.

The water in our room to shower with was not warm. Being on the lower floor, room 3, we could hear every noise from the upstairs rooms, and it was loud.

We loved all of the plants, the crystal clear and safe lake to swim in, the terraced eating area as well as the little platform to relax on up top. All of the food we had was nice as well, especially the tomato soup, which was a special one day.

We loved it all! The concept of the place is beautiful, from the arrival the staff makes you feel special, genuine attention and kindness, the food sensational, the room cozy, the place is so intimate and pleasant that you won't even want to leave it. I hope to come back soon.

This hotel felt like a mini lake resort. The food was fantastic (we had breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks there). The staff was friendly and helpful with booking travel to the airport. The air conditioning worked well and our room was actually nicer in person than in pictures. Everything was comfortable and we had such a nice afternoon swimming and kayaking at the lake. Would recommend to anyone!

Nothing related to the Casa. Just know that if you attract mosquitoes at home... it will be the same there! So, don't forget Deet and Afterbite product.

Casa Marimba is a gorgeous place with a lot of birds. It's a very nice place to stay as a basecamp to visit the surroundings area including Mombacho and Granada as it's a little cooler, and very nice play to go back in the very hot afternoon ! The food is good, the employees are really nice and helpful :-)
