Lovely hotel, quiet and clean

I didn't like that the room had a musty smell. They should try to air the rooms more frequently. I was quite disappointed that they did not have a spa as was advertised on this site. Please correct that. Also, repairs were ongoing that really interrupted our rest. They should have informed us about this so as not to startle in the wee hours of the morning.

The manager was very intentional in ensuring we had a memorable time; he gave us a surprise treat. Good man! 😊 I also liked that the staff were polite and cheerful.

Their meals could be better with more choices available. You cannot pay with a foreign card, to me this will limit their clientele options. Assuming you don’t have a Nigerian payment facility, what happens?

The hotel is located in a quite and upmarket environment. I cannot recommend it enough. It has a roof top facility where you can relax and have your meal and drink. You will not find the usual mix crowd there.

My room seemed to have a smell. Seemed to be a plumbing issue, smelled like toilet or sewage. I notice work was being done in the room next to the one I stayed, so maybe this was a factor. I was mostly out for work, so it didn’t bother me too much.

Staff were very courteous and professional. Location was serene and central. Meals were good. Room rates were very affordable. Overall, it was a good choice staying here

Bathroom had a smell and there were insects by the mirror when the mirror light was left on. Also noise at 4am everyday from next building waking me up at night. Food was just okay.

Very good breakfast but buffet breakfast would have been preffered. Great facilities including very nice bedroom, roomy bathroom, great room fittings. Great meeting facilities, nice restaurant and dining area and very nice lounge on third floor. Adequate gym and swimming pool.

The main thing was the charge online was slightly higher when I paid because of the increased exchange rate used at the hotel to hedge for the fluctuation in Naira to USD, it meant about a N37,000 increase, not fatal but it removed the price competitiveness they had when I was comparing other places. There was a little moisture damage in the bathroom, naturally from the steam and a little wear and tear on the ironing board I was given. The breakfast was ok, some would rate it a 7/10 but I would've preferred more options for a healthy breakfast, a nice fruit salad, yoghurt, avocados, the likes. But it was a breakfast most around would enjoy. These though were minor. Wali's is clean, pristine and comfortable.

Wali's Suites was professional, comfortable, clean and properly managed like a proper hotel. You had exquisite sheets, beddings, all the modern conveniences you'd expect from any international hotel chain. Their studio room was spacious, comfortable everything was working well and the staff were polite and professional. I'll try and book them for any of my other stays in Abuja. It was a really nice place to stay with the regular international standards of any traveler. No drama, just good accommodation.
