How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

The room however was very disappointing, dust everywhere, hairs on the floor, both tvs not working. The toilet was just a nightmare, no water coming out of sink, 1 shower door missing.. Breakfast was very disappointing, We received 1 slice of bread cut in half with small egg to share between myself and my 2 kids. This was shocking, had to order 2 potions of indomie and egg. I will not be returning
Staff were very friendly ans accommodating, check in was pleasant. Day porters helped carry my bags up to my room. The Reception and Bar area was well lit and pleasant. Evening meal was great. Enjoyed it but over priced..

The concept of the property is great, however there are many things that needed to be done to achieving the goals of services. The safety aspect of the property and ventilation within not good to expected standard for such sought-after facility like this. No bath mat at any of the bathrooms used and the ties at these bathrooms was too slippy making safety and risk of falls too high. The Air-conditioning not cooling and showers not functioning properly. Electric sockets not working at many points or not properly fitted. I stayed 6 night at the property and I was only offered / provided breakfast 2 days out of the 6 day even after many complaints twas channelled o the staff team.
The location is private snd friendly.

There was no wifi for days. They increased the price of the room when we got there which caused us to be destabilized.
They hadly gave us breakfast. We got breakfast three times out of seven days and in those three times,we had to request for it twice.

The breakfast that came with the booking is far below expectations.
The staff were good and respectful. The kitchen staff prepared the meals ordered well.

The air conditioner was extremely noisy, turning on and off repeatedly. The door was faulty, requiring significant effort to open and close. The bathroom was untidy and had an unpleasant odor. The mirror in the bathroom was dirty and unkempt. Coming from Rwanda, the cleanest country in Africa, this was disappointing. I was also unable to get a hot water bath in the morning before I left.

The facility is not well maintained, small cockroaches everywhere inside the apartment, and the kitchen is not in order. No hot water running. The living room should have a bigger screen TV
To be honest, I can't really say, this is what I like about the apartment, I booked for one-bed apartment based on the pictures I saw online, however on getting the apartment, I was given another apartment entirely, too small and looks out of used, I complained and told the receptionist, this is not what I saw online that I can't possibly sleep here. She left, and by the when she returned, she said the only option available for me is to upgrade, and the only available apartment left is 2 bedrooms. However, she told me that it would cost me an additional 46k. So I paid the additional 46k even though what I needed was a one-bedroom.

They made an oversight on my booking, and they had a very rude receptionist (dark skinned), the staffs where not professional. I had booked an extra week, but the power went out for some minutes, so I canceled it and just checked out. The response time wasn't really quick, I had to ask for virtually everything that a one room apartment would need, fridge, cups, kettle, to fix gas, it was tiring, I was beginning to sound like a broken record.
The light skin receptionist lady was friendly.

I booked around 5pm, indicating arrival time to be between 6 and 7pm. I got there 6:35pm, and I was told they were fully booked. The painful part was that the receptionist admitted she saw my booking, yet decided to give the room out
