How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Liked to have use the gym but it wasn't open.
Neatness, well arranged and the ante- balcony.give a luxury feel. Staff were courteous, safe environment and nearest to the main road. The environment is close to restaurants and grocery stores.

There was no elevator and I was on the third floor so it wasn't convenient. I had to keep going up and down to collect delivery of my meals from outside, as the hotel has a policy of not accepting external deliveries on behalf of guest. The food was not so good and always had too much spice (pepper). Even when you request that your food should not have spice, they ignore your request and still made it with too much pepper.
The hotel was very clean. I love the very clean and very white bedsheets and towels, always clean. Clean toilets and bathrooms. Friendly and polite staff. Loved convenient communication with hotels through WhatsApp and also intercom. Daily updates as well. Convenient car hire service at affordable prices (4Tcabs)

Water pressure at the topmost floor was down the first night but was rectified by the next day.
Breakfast was actually nice considering the amount I paid for the room.

Their WiFi was not strong enough in the and kept disconnecting. No action was taken either from the hotel after complaining.

It took ages for hot water to flow from the taps. I had to run the water for up to 10 minutes before getting hot water

The hotel is at Ojodu and not Ikeja as indicated and it is not close to the airport. When going we got so worried when our taxis were taking us so far away. Please change and indicate distance to hotel from airport. A second and worse experience was when a staff started flirting with me. That scared me and made me worry about all 7 of us'es safety. Then we asked for Nigerian breakfast like ogi and akara or akara and Agege break. First morning they said it was too late and next morning they ignored our request and gave us pathetic boiled potato and stew.

The hot water wasn’t running and WiFi disconnected a lot. Also, I would advise calling the hotel directly, if you’re in Nigeria, to make a reservation instead of booking on booking.com to get a fairer price.
The property is in a good location and the rooms are spacious, clean, and well maintained.

The rooms upstairs kept having water cuts and the breakfast was not ready at the specified time. In all the management should just ensure they have good cleaning staff.
The hotel is really neat, the bed and sheets fantastic. Very cozy. Respectful and helpful front desk staff. Great location.

There was only one towel, despite the room being for 2 people. There was a hole in the mosquito net in the bathroom and a few mosquitoes were seen in the room.
The staff were very kind and helpful. The breakfasts were lovely. I was comfortable in the room.

Their wifi connection is a series of steps to take, that's bad for travellers who have been stressed out. I'll advise they make their wifi, an easy access.
I liked the serenity except for the early morning Schhil children that were shouting as usual.
