Reviews of Tenbergen Pension Hotel

Everything except the road noise.

ThereBig, spacious and clean rooms. Having a microwave and small fridge in the room was also a huge plus. The hotel is located in the center of town, and walking around seems quite enjoyable, although we didn't get the chance to do so.

Breakfast was not directly included. Although they had a restaurant on the premises that served a good breakfast, it closed at 4 PM,t dinner elsewhere, even if we didn' so we had to get feel like going out.

Very comfortable stay.

Staff and facilities were excellent.

The rooms were nice and big. And a lovley king bed

It is conviniently located, late check in available until 9pm, breakfast voucher- very good breakfast, very quiet and very spacious rooms. Loved the kitchenette and desk when you want to work.

Service was very poor, i called for late check in and got there and they were fully booked. The staff member at reception was nasty like we were lost. He asked to check our bokking confirmation and then said he will arrange a room but it will need to be cleaned and asked us to leave and be back in an hour. We drove out at 8pm and back 9pm and the room was ready. Gave a free breakfast voucher for the mistake.

No Breakfast / great to have a kitchen with Microwave / cutlery and crockery

Maintenance on the windows... we battled to get the sliding windows to close securely / security bars were broken.... feeling of unease

The overall layout and decor were really above expectation. The cleanliness overall was exceptional. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room itself with the little kitchenette was exceptional, loved the coffee maker.

I had no complaints.

We stayed at the Tenbergen three times over the course of our tour around Namibia, including the start and end of our tour. The first time we were located on the 1st floor and in a room facing the inner courtyard. Unfortunately, the bed was rather small. On our subsequent visits we requested a room with a larger bed. These rooms were located immediately adjacent to the very busy Robert Mugabe Street, literally, a couple of metres away. Therefore, the traffic noise levels in the early morning and late afternoon rush hours were very loud. There should be some attempt at sound proofing the bedrooms adjacent to Robert Mugagbe Street.
