Regretfully we had to skip breakfast as it only starts at 7 am and we needed to leave to Sossuvlei earlier as many others. After dinner it felt a bit rushed to get us to bed.

The night sky was amazing and they arranged a very nice dinner. The front staff was very helpful and nice.

Good location with beautiful sunset views. Lots of game at night but mozzies kept us awake which was unexpected in the desert!

No issues! If you are a light sleeper, you may consider bringing ear plugs due to potential wind sounds at night.

Stunningly beautiful location and extremely cute tents. We also had a delicious dinner, served by one of the kindest waitresses we’ve ever had.

Nothing that we didn't like about the lodge. There were wind storms while we were staying and the manager upgraded us from the soft adventure camp to the lodge to be more comfortable, which was much appreciated.

Stunning views from our room across the plains, super friendly staff and a focus on trying the make each guest's experience with them really special. Lovely pool area plus a small waterhole with a hide to watch and photograph birds and small animals.

    Nothing.

Everything - the location is just stunning, the staff are welcoming and helpful and answered every question we asked. The tents are so comfortable with plenty of hot water. The food was delicious for all our breakfasts and dinners. There are beautiful walks around the rocks - we had beautiful sunrises and sunsets every day. We saw a Spotted Eagle Owl, wildebeest up close, and very friendly starlings, ground squirrels and sociable weavers.

    Nothing

Everything. The staff were lovely, friendly and fun. The food was so good, well presented. Two evenings we had bbq in a lovely outdoor space and the other evening a special dinner on the patio overlooking the Plains. Went on two trips, an excursion to soussusvlei and a sundowner trip to watch the sunset from a great viewpoint. Even had time to spend an afternoon by the pool. A great, relaxing few days in the middle of our holiday.

Our time there was too short!

We had the most fantastic stay at Naukluft Lodge, apart from the spectacular surroundings, everyone on the staff was super friendly and nothing was ever too much to do to ensure we had a comfortable stay. As for the food, it was just on another level, prepared with love and care by Sophy and her team! Thank you Kia, Tina and Thorsten for such a memorable stay!

This is the 3rd time I have been a guest at the Soft Adventure Camp, and I am thrilled every time! At night, zebras or wildebeest may pass by the camp, and the night sky is simply breathtaking. Also, the food is so good and the staff is super friendly. I'm already looking forward to my 4th stay!

We could not afford breakfast or dinner in the Lodge and the Tented Room had no facilities to make your own food. There was kitchen facilities, but no utencils&cutlery, luckily we had our own. There was a braai near the little splash pool, but we used all our own stuff but I am sure if you ask, the staff will help you out.

We liked the Soft Adventure Camp - it was a tented room, very comfortable and hot shower. They can rather call it Soft Camping Facilities.

What an amazing surprise! We were fortunate enough to find this camp and get a last minute reservation. They generously upgraded us from the camp to the lodge. Once we were settled- our boys hiked a fantastic rock mountain hill behind the property while we lounged on our patio and looked at the most spectacular sunset across the desert. The room was clean, spacious, and comfy and the dinner was absolutely delicious. We were wined and dined like VIP guests in a gorgeous outdoor setting. The brothers who own this property have stories to share and were so helpful. I will thank them now because our family really enjoyed the special excursion/hike that they sent us on. It was one of the highlights of our entire trip. Thank you so much for sharing your history on this incredible property and what you used to do when you grew up there. We really really enjoyed our stay. A special space and we hope to be back!

My stepdaughter was incredibly impressed and happy with the vegan milk and margarine she was given. We hadn't booked meals in advance but they accommodated her vegan diet very well! We loved eating outside for both dinner and breakfast enjoying the scenery and open air! Nice sunset spot up on the rocks. Nice to dip in the pool after hiking the sand dunes. Very friendly staff.

Every room would benefit from a mini fridge, right now some have and some do not. Double check your final bill as we had a few extra drink charges.

When we arrived, we were told we had been upgraded to the Namib Naukluft Lodge. We had seen a bus group parked at Soft Adventure, so we were happy to receive the upgrade. My review will be for the lodge. The setting is very peaceful, and beautiful rock formations set in the desert landscape make it feel special, especially at sunset. There is a cold swimming pool which is a welcome respite from the heat. The rooms have AC and ceiling fans, which helps a lot. All of the rooms look straight out onto balconies facing the desert expanse. Dining in the evenings is a treat as dinner was served outdoors at sunset, and the meal is four courses with salads making a fifth. The food was very good, some courses were amazing. My personal favorites were the lamb and polenta with some sort of magic sauce and the oryx raviolis.

Toilet flusher needs maintanence. Wish they had books.

Was given a free upgrade. Great surroundings. Spacious rooms with great view though you might be disturbed by the gophers when you step out to the porch. Lovely products and dinner. When putting the name into GPS remember to put in Namib Naukloft Lodge. "Soft adventure camp" will lead you way way offroad.
