Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

RomaniaSince it's so good it gets very very busy, but not noisy, of course depending of the neighbors.
This place is not a campsite, it's an outdoor lodge. Helpful staff, and by far the fanciest place to camp in. Private bathroom with hot shower, sink for laundry, sink for dishes, sink for the bathroom. Lights everywhere, hose for water and so on. Good place to stop and rest without being bothered about the lion or elephant walking near you.

United Statesthe food at the restaurant could be a bit better.
my all time favorite campsite in namibia! i wish i stayed longer. the campsite itself is beautiful and secluded, the bathroom is fully indoors, which is great during colder months. the pool area is nice, and the restaurant with a view of a watering hole is so cool! it’s a great spot for a drink with a view. the service was impeccable.

We really liked this camp. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. What we especially appreciated was having our own bathroom! The camp was very nice and quiet—perfect for starting our safari in Etosha.

SpainNothing.
This was one of the best campsites we stayed in in Namibia. Beautiful plot surrounded on 3 sides by trees so not on top of neighbours. Clean ensuite facilities with toilet separate from shower - much appreciated! Also nice amount of counter space in the bathroom and cooking/sink area. Main building overlooks a lovely waterhole with game and birds. We had a lovely breakfast here. Very peaceful place perfectly situated just outside Namutoni Gate to Etosha.

South AfricaCamping in the Bush with next a Lodge linked to glam campsite just a 2 min walk was very special - gave us the feeling of a Lux Safari stay & bar, dinner for our last night outside the North Etosha . Slept under the stars in our roof tents next to our fire after a fab dinner looking out to a small water hole . Will come again !!
Fabulous camps sites & Lodge on a private reserve just outside the entrance of Namutoni Gate - North East Etosha . Had our own Lux 4x4 camp site - shower / toilet & hot water prep & wash sinks & Lux Lodge Bar & Restuarant.

My favourite campsite from the Namibia trip. Charming restaurant overlooking the waterhole. Giraffe came in as we had drinks. Gracious and lovely staff, particularly in the bar and restaurant. Large pitches with your own bathroom and washing up facilities. Pool is clean and relaxing. Loved the cheeky mongoose running around (but they climb into your things if you leave them out!). We went on the sunset game drive and saw lion twice. We enjoyed it so much that we stayed another night.

FinlandGreat campsite with good, clean facilities with privacy. Restaurant is nice with a nice view to a waterhole. Pool is nice with many mongoose roaming around. Price is on a high end for campsite but you get god return for it. Activities are also on the expensive side but good chances to see many animals, we saw lions, cheetah, white rhinos, giraffes, kudu, oryx, zebra, impala, warthogs etc.

United StatesNothing, really, nothing I don't like. If I am back to the area again, this is the place I am going to be again!
The location was excellent, it's practically right outside of the Etosha NP. The camp site was excellent. As the matter of fact, I travel around the world and camping frequently and this is the best camp site I have ever experienced. No question asked. It has a kitchen area, a separate shower room and a separate toilet room. And I mean these are all rooms, not exposed to the open area! The entire camp site was a closed area by dense bushes and no one could peek in and you have whole privacy! The staff was so nice, he even helped me to move my food from kitchen area into the shower room to prevent animals getting them. Way over my expectations was he even folded my clothes which I left in the showroom. The experience just way over my expectations. Oh, their restaurant/cafeteria area is facing a beautiful waterhole or pond and you could just sit there, sipping drinks and see the wildlife come and go. This is not just a camp site, it's an experience. The staff, the camp site, the sitting area, I just can't praise them enough. Come! And experience all these yourself.
