The lodge is spacious with a nice terrace outside the restaurant overlooking a pond and grass field with nice bird life and even regular visits by ostrich. The food was good and the staff were all amazing. The room in my bungalow was spacious and beautifully designed. The place has its own wildlife farm and organize 2 hour safaris four times a day - you will see lots of antelope (springbok, sable antelope, impala, oryx) giraffe, zebra, ostrich and even rhinos.

You only have access to a small portion of the reserve, the rest is only accessible by the owner and the owner’s guests. This should be stated on the website and it is misleading

Sunrise Game Drive was spectacular. Rooms are beautiful. I enjoyed the meals. Staff very friendly and supportive. Everything was perfect! Will come back again!

The road to access the property is in quite poor condition.

The a la carte dinner was costly and very underwhelming. The beds in the double rooms could be bigger.

The location is straight off the B1. Main restaurant/bar area is beautiful, overlooking the lawn where we could see the animals who like to come quite close during dinner. 2 pools. The rooms are very tastefully designed and furnished and also all face the lawn, so have a mini-game view right from your porch. Staff were very helpful.

It was unfortunate that we had a power cut in the night and so we were extremely hot and didn't sleep much! When we reported it at 6 am when it was light and we could walk to reception, it was dealt with immediately.

We stayed in a standard room and despite its appearance was very pleasantly surprised by the size and facilities in the room. Fresh milk, ground coffee, biscuits . A very good supply of charging points and liked the choice of overhead fan and / or aircon. Staff were friendly. Lovely to have an ostrich and plenty of warthogs roaming around. Woke up to seeing a giraffe wandering in the distance. Complementary afternoon tea and cake.

Lovely semi-refurbished lodge with antelope, ostriches and warthogs roaming the grounds, among others, and interesting birdlife. Our family suite was perfect for older children, and was in a peaceful location. Nice bar and restaurant with a good buffet breakfast plus hot options.
