A perfect stop over from driving back from the Caprivi on route to Windhoek. Very close to the Hoba meteorite for an afternoon excursion. Place was lovely and clean, and equipped with everything you need for self catering.

We were so happy with our choice to stay at the Meteorite Rest Camp. The individual chalet (cabin) was homey and comfortable with lovely decorations and a fully equipped kitchen. We used the bbq with homemade sausage and kudu steaks bought at their farm shop that were delicious. Loved taking a walk with their super friendly dog. Lots of birds in lovely surroundings with a friendly host. Great value!

Perfect location for a stop over when traveling through Namibia. We were on route from Botswana to Swakop and needed somewhere to sleep. This beautiful venue was perfect. The hostess was extremely kind and helpful. She had pre-prepared casserole dishes that we could buy to simply warm up on arrival as well as breakfast packs for departure and the food was delicious and very well priced. The cottage was spotless and elegant and we will definitely be back.

Lovely area!! Peacefull and Best Unit for 4 poeple out of all our sleepover units in Namibia on this week-away trip! *One problem i did'nt like.I made a Booking via Booking.com,paid by CreditCard.Thought i paid for the unit in full. Just to discover did'nt pay at all.No money of my Account.?Dont know how this happen? *With lekkeslaap i'm use to pay in FULL always before i enter the premises.Thats what i prefer!! This put me in a uneasy position with the Owner,who said she set up something,to make sure she must be paid at arrival??

The only fault of the whole unit / trip / experience was the pillows.

The unit was clean and well equipedd . Nice treats like rusks and milk. The appliances were helpful. Check in was easy and host very friendly. Shop onsite has everything that you could potentially forget.

The double beds mattress was hollow. Should maybe be replaced and the toilet was dripping a bit.

We had a great experience with the owls that came to sit in the big Umbrella Thorn in front of our room. we spotted at least 3 different owls.

Dogs were barking outside our unit until late, making it difficult to sleep as they woke the kids. Dogs climbing on table to lick on plates etc. We love dogs and have our own, and although we made a point of not feeding the dogs as per the owner's request, this did not help.

Peaceful and very neat surroundings. Was very comfortable and not far off the road for an overnight stop.
