The dust around the dorm-room house, it would have been nice if it was covered by grass or outside tiling.

It was clean and has large open space for people to sit and chill especially around the dorm house area. It’s just simply lovely and cosy.

The direction when using public transport is an issue, you must help with google maps/gps. The amount wasn't as it appeared on bookings.com. The matress wasn't too comfortable or maybe its because it was my first time and only time in the dorms, maybe if I slept another it night I might have experienced something different...

The staff was really helpful and friendly. The place was really clean and neat. I loved the books, there's variety of selections and there's plenty of space around to sit and relax whether inside or outside. I loved the decor.

Kitchen broken has to use outside burners not good. Fix your stove inside geeeez. Getting in out gate was annoying they have to push a button vs getting your own code. And during winter stop opening and leaving the doors wide open, the staff shows up bundled up opens doors props then open in the mornings why would you do that we guests don’t want a cold place to wake up and move around! Think beyond yourself

The room was very comfortable, and the bathroom included both a bathtub and a shower. I stayed in Swakopmund and really enjoyed the space. For the cold winter nights, I would suggest providing hot water bottles, they’re more eco-friendly and would help reduce energy consumption, especially since the air-conditioner’s heating function wasn’t very effective and blew cold air during the night. The staff were incredibly helpful and kind.

The kitchen is big enough, but there's a somewhat limited amount of utensils available. Do expect some car noise on a Saturday night in certain rooms, if you have the window open, but the wind may drown it out. A car is handy, if you want to go to the city center.

Friendly and welcoming staff, the place is very clean, spacious grounds, not too busy, when I was there. A good place to relax before and after your flight.

Would be far without a car. Room was next to the road but wasn't really an issue.

If you don't have a car (I did) this place can be a bit more difficult, but they are very good at communicating to setup transport for you and have a free shuttle to town every day. This place truly is more of a guesthouse rather than a hotel, ample parking, big yard with barbecue and a pool and a bar with a nice kitchen and living room. Dorm beds were solid and would not wobble, each with tons of outlets and a small light with curtain. Good storage with a lockable bin beneath the bed as well. Pretty solid room by dorm standards.

The dorms had no air-conditioning or fans. It was too hot to be inside during the day.

The guesthouse was well-maintained and clean. The staff were friendly and polite. I like their dedication to make my stay as comfortable as possible. The place is very much safe as well. It is a cozy little place to stay in budget!

There's room for improvement in terms of staff introducing new visitors in the sharing rooms. Instead of just invading the space without courtesy to those who already are in the room. Greet people and inform them that you are bringing some company in the room.
