Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. ItalyAccess to the casino is only available with a subscription and registration for a membership card — which is a bit complex, but reasonable. The issue was that the system was down, so registration was unavailable and access was denied. Not a big deal, but it’s a hotel and casino without an actual casino, at least for that night (the only night we stayed there, as our last night on the Namibia trip).
Breakfast was outstanding. Overall, it is a very good international hotel, offering good value for money by European standards, and conveniently located in central Windhoek within walking distance of the main shopping area.

United KingdomI got approached by a non-guest who asked to use my phone and took my photo. I was then anxious that I would be hacked somehow. I reported it to the desk but they said it was nothing to worry about. I have phone numbers if you need them. I think there should be better security to prevent non guests accessing all the floors particularly the top one where there was no staff in the morning.
The Pantry was a great place to eat. We used it multiple times. The restaurant was also lovely food and service.

South AfricaHad the burger at the Pantry Restaurant located in the hotel and the food could have been better. Particularly the bun. The room service dining food was not much of an improvement either.
Loved our stay at Avani hotel. It’s centrally located which made it easy to tour popular attractions on foot. The rooftop restaurant provides for incredible sunset views and the cocktails were great. Check in experience was good. Thanks to Metakie (sp) for the detailed information. The breakfast buffet was great! Wide range of options. The Host, whose name I unfortunately do not recall, was friendly, super helpful and above all just radiated a lovely energy to want to be around.

Cars kept hooting as he kept swerving until we noticed and kept speaking to him to keep him awake his excuse was that his been driving since 4am that morning however this left me feeling very unsettled nervous and in danger

United KingdomThe “pool” isn’t really a pool, very small. We were told the rooftop bar was closed but luckily it wasn’t. Drop your bags off at reception if bringing your own car, otherwise you will have to carry bags up stairs and a fair way through the shopping centre and the hotel and then down in the lift.
Central location, comfortable beds, great rooftop bar, friendly and helpful staff in reception and the bar and the pantry. A couple of different options for food/drinks and breakfast is good.

The hotel is next to a small shopping centre that has a good food store "Checkers" for safe drinking water as Namibia water can give rise to tummy upsets. There is also a large shopping mall close by (5 minute walk). The hotel is clean and staff very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The king size bed was comfortable. Hot and cold breakfast was good.
