The food was expensive but really good and would recommend people to eat there. Staff was friendly and helpful

The accommodation was acceptable, but dit not like the security guards walking around with weapons. The rooms was acceptable but very basic.

Top notch service from the staff. Quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Natasha and Ruben were amazing at making my stay as comfortable as possible.

Didnt have that good wifi so if you are looking to do some work consider another location.

Well located just north of Windhoek, so it made our long drive to Etosha the next day that little bit shorter. The staff were a highlight, very friendly and even though we arrived late (we'd had two flat tires that day) they took great care of us and made sure we were comfortable. The breakfast is amazing, with different types of Namibian cheeses, local types of game meat and a nice warm plate as well. There are tortoises and springboks wandering around which was a welcome surprise. The rooms are basic, but perfectly comfortable. We wish we could have stayed longer.

A lovely stay in the country just outside Windhoek on our way to Mariental. An enjoyable breakfast included.

The food was amazing as was all the staff members, the pool area was nice and relaxing. You're greeted every day by ostriches near the entrance and the hotel is privately gated, the showers had instant hot water, and there's lovely gardens to walk around watching the birds. The waterhole is very nice to chill out at.

The WiFi was very intermittent, there were mosquitos in our room every day which we had to spray. We could hear the motorway nearby, the named 'wilderness lodge' seemed a bit misleading when we could hear the vehicles racing up the road every morning.

Buffet breakfast was good but limited; Staff were lovely; thank you! I had a wonderful massage; The lovely manager Natashja organised bookings for me for a walk with the bushmen; also a safari at Okapulka and transfers where necessary.

I wouldn't stay there again with out a car. It is 20+ kms from Windhoek and transfers to go only a short distance away meant the taxis etc had to come from Windhoek to take me a short distance so that became comparatively expensive. There was no small fridge in the room for milk but I requested a small jug each day so I could have coffee in my room without that horrible whitener powder.

We had a few wonderful days at the lodge. The staff (and Natasha specially) is super kind and helpful. I would definitely recommend staying a few days to enjoy the pool and the dinner in the evening. The oryx tartar was our favourite. Thank you!!!

As always the fine dining food and service is top notch. Friendly staff that go out of their way to make your stay so much more pleasant.

No wifi in the rooms / chalets.

The food here is the best I have had in Africa.

Unfortunately, a lot of building work / factories around the property. Not the fault of the hotel itself, but not ‘wilderness’ by any stretch of the imagination anymore.

Finding a place that immerses you in the untamed wilderness of Namibia is rare, but this experience truly delivered. The atmosphere was unparalleled, capturing the raw beauty of the landscape perfectly. As a delightful bonus, the food was exceptional. A special "thank you" for their invaluable guidance on the route to Sesriem.

    Property response:

It´s like a tradition to stay here at last night before we leave Namibia. I like the location, nearby the city of Windhoek, with there pretty rooms and the fabulous restaurant. I think, this is the ideal location to organize your self.
