Such a gem of a find. We loved it here. Everything is so well thought through. Great location for being able to walk to restaurants and the sites. The hosts are lovely and seem like friends from the minute you get there. fridge with some kitchen utensils so we were able to eat out of the room for breakfast as well which is always great. Highly recommend.

Very pleasant stay at Rian who is a great host. Rustic Inn is centrally located in Swakopmund, with short ways to the next supermarket, restaurants, and the sea. The facilities are extremely clean throughout. Beyond, the smell in the room was very good making us feel at home very quickly

This is the best accommodation for this price in the very center of the city. Everything was nearby: the ocean in 3 minutes, banks, a large supermarket in about 12 minutes. Two toilets are outside , but it’s not a problem because they are next to the apartments. Thanks to Mariaan and Rian and their three adorable cats for our vacation in Swakopmund and for an excursion to Cape Cross for a small fee

It is self made into this gorgeous garden like style. Literal cute old pots for a fountain! And fresh flowers that kind of look like carnations (just because I love carnations, this spoke to me).

The aesthetic! It is lovely, it’s like you’re living on a page from a magazine.

Loved the time here Rian is wonderful host. Has great recommendations. Does like to talk a lot as is Namibian but all in good faith. Would stay again and recommend!

Clean room and bathroom. Mariaan and Riaan were super!!!! Food was excellent. Riaan willing/helpful to organize advwntures. Vibe at Rustic inn is out of this world. Very friendly

They are building a system for payment via Mastercard or bank transfer instead of cash payment which will improve and facilitate the payment process.

Mariann and Riaan are extremely nice and helpful - straight from the first contact after booking - Rustic Inn is indeed Rustic and very charming garden area with fascinating decorations and atmosphere - and we got good advice about sightseeing and places to eat - and got spoiled by Mariann who creates a home away from home

This was by far one of our favorite stays while traveling in Africa. The hosts communicated nicely before we arrived, sharing the location and asking us what we were interested in doing while in town. They also gave amazing recommendations for close by food and drinks. The room and outdoor space was nice and spacious, thoughtfully decorated, and felt easy to relax in. The shower was perfect after a day of activities with good pressure and heat. It was a much needed feeling of home after traveling for so long. We came as strangers and left feeling like family! Another part was their recommendation to do a tour of Sandwich Harbor with the tour guide, Gideon. Hands down an amazing experience with fresh oysters, champagne, and good eats while in the middle of the Namib desert. After we expressed a desire to sandboard, he ensured we had an amazing spot and prepared boards for multiple awesome rides. Then we enjoyed a spectacular Braai with everyone and it is something I will remember forever.

Exceeded my expectations in every way. The hosts, Mariana and Rian are incredibly hospitable and really make you feel at home. They were even nice enough to bring me along on a sandwich harbour trip they had planned with a friend, which was the perfect way for me to explore the dunes and surrounding areas. Rustic Inn has a unique, antique charm that you won’t find elsewhere. The courtyard is spectacular as well as the location. Highly recommend booking if you’re planning a visit to Swakop.

Our stay was absolutely unforgettable. The owners were incredibly kind and hospitable, and we enjoyed our long conversations with them. The room was beautiful and the entire property was decorated with great taste. Everything was handmade, which gave the place a unique character. We can't wait to return and see them again
