The location, overlooking the desert, is great. The room were spacious and very cozy. It also had a fireplace which helped a lot during cold nights in August. Breakfast was also very good.

Andrea and the staff were so friendly. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. The view of the dunes are incredible. Highly recommend.

Stunning location with unbelievable views of the dunes. Waking up to that view was incredible. Staff were super friendly and very helpful. Fireplace in the room was a major bonus especially as it was pretty chilly in the evenings. Bed was so comfortable and the shower was amazing

The house is fairly cold in winter (we were there in July) but there’s a wood fine & they provide firewood & will help start the fire if you have problems. You’ll have to drive to town if you want to go out for dinner. The staff recommended restaurants to us though & also booked for us which was very helpful.

Interesting accommodation with lots of artwork and sculptures around. We stayed in the 3 bed house which was huge with beautiful desert views. Great breakfast. Friendly & helpful staff. Useful laundry service. We would stay here again.

We liked everything. As a recommendation for improvement: Cold breakfast could be up-lifted and a fire on a cold morning in the restaurant would create a magic. Otherwise a great, special place.

Stunning establishment on the edge of town. The rooms are lovely with views over the red-dunes. Staff very helpful and friendly. The perfect choice for accommodation in Swakopmund!

No lunch/dinner available for purchase. Breakfast didn’t have a lot of options. No filtered water so you must buy your own bottles.

The bed set up. Double bed should be double not with half a foot gap in between two joined single beds. For someone who also manages lodge, this can be fixed by adjusting the bed frame, sewing zip and cover up with good mattress protector. Seeing that most of your guests are couples, it makes only sense.

The buffet breakfast was good but I feel more options should be made available on the meats - the only meat option available when we stayed there was bacon.

Desert Breeze is a breath of fresh air! Tucked away at periphery of town, in a quiet neighborhood, facing the dunes. The views are to die for!!! It’s such a serene and relaxing place perfect for a couple getaway. The gospel music played at breakfast on Sunday morning was so befitting- it’s just amazing to listen to that music as you admire Gods handwriting outside! There’s a path close to the facility to walk to the dunes so you can experience them at your own pace! The staff are really friendly and professional. They did well to market and encourage us to stay more nights, pity we had other commitments but we were sold!

This was place was absolutely wonderful from every point of view. We stayed 4 nights and would happily stayed much much longer. Lovely layout overall, spacious and clean room and bathroom, comfortable bed, very nice space in front of a fireplace... and sublime view over the Dorob National Park sand dunes. Our favorite stay in Nambia and one of the best stays ever also planet-wise. No matter how much time you will spend here, you will want to go back.

Really nice setting on the river bank, close/short drive to Swakopmund center. Staff is very friendly, rooms are nicely laid out with beautiful views towards the dunes. Well equipped also. Good breakfast.

Anastasia was a lovely host and offered a number of recommendations on places to go and things to see. The room was lovely and the views spectacular. A unique property that's just a few moments from the centre of town yet which feels like you're at the edge of the wilderness. Breakfast was good and staff friendly there as well.
